Job Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Group Leader will be responsible for leading a group of Skilled employees to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment and processes.
This role requires you to consistently administer National and Local Agreement between company and the United Auto Workers Union. The work is of a technical nature and requires you to use independent judgment within the limits of Global Manufacturing Systems, focusing on Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost, and Environment (SPQRCE).
Selected candidates will have the opportunity to learn new skills as well as influencing the development of manufacturing processes to support this historical and game-changing progression to electric and autonomous vehicles.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

Additional Description
Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications):
• One year of direct team supervisory experience or at least 5 months as an internal per diem group leader
• Experience reading and understanding electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic blueprints
• Experience coordinating, managing, addressing performance concerns, and leading people in a fast-paced environment
• Experience solving complex problems and working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills, experience managing conflict and making decisions in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
• Basic computer proficiency (i.e. Microsoft Word, typing, email etc.)
• Must be willing to work weekends and rotating shifts

What You'll Do As a MaintenanceTechnician, you'll keep our facility operating at peak performance by repairing, upgrading, and maintaining production equipment. POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Engineer (ME) is responsible for the general maintenance, operation and upkeep of the campground buildings, facilities, equipment, and grounds. They will commonly work with a team to ensure all aspects of the campground are clean, safe, and well-maintained and in good working order. The ME will use technical skills to troubleshoot and repair machinery, electrical systems, and other equipment. They also use technical skills to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and other documents related to their work. The ME will perform general carpentry, electrical, painting, and plumbing work and install new fixtures, equipment, and appliances as needed. They are also responsible for conducting the preventative maintenance program, handling guest requests and other work orders as assigned in a safe and efficient manner.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
Perform carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and maintenance/repairs to campground buildings, facilities, equipment, vehicles, and grounds as directed by the engineering supervisor.
Comply with all KOA, federal, state, and local safety programs by adhering to established guidelines in the operation and storage of various equipment, tools and chemicals.
Maintain compliance with preventative maintenance program through regular inspection of facilities, buildings, cabins, vehicles, and equipment.
Inspecting equipment to ensure proper functioning of heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, electrical systems, etc.
Troubleshooting problems with equipment to determine the cause of failure and determine the best solution for repair or replacement.
Installing new fixtures, equipment, and appliances as needed.
Safe operation of swimming pool and aquatic water features by maintaining proper pool chemistry while safely handling all pool chemicals.
Approach all encounters with guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.

**Description**
The MaintenanceTechnician is responsible for ensuring the upkeep and repair of facility equipment, machinery, and building infrastructure. Duties include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and conducting repairs to ensure minimal downtime. The role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
**Major Duties & Responsibilities**
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems to identify and resolve issues
• Conduct repairs on a variety of systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
• Ensure that work areas and equipment are clean and organized
• Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations
• Adhere to safety protocols and report any potential hazards
**Requirements**
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• HVAC, plumbing, or electrical certifications (preferred but not required)

Pay starts at $18 per hour or higher based on experience
Monday through Friday schedule, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Qualifications for this position
Five or more years of manufacturing maintenance experience with strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment using hand and power tools
Must be able to speak, write, and read basic English.
Comfortable lifting over 75 pounds and working on your feet all day
Ability to read manuals, follow work orders, and follow safety rules
