BUS DRIVER
Under supervision, drive a school bus and/or drive other District vehicles; operate assigned bus in a clean and safe condition; and perform related duties as required.
TYPICAL DUTIES
* Drive a school bus or District vehicle transporting students and faculty as authorized over a designated route according to an established time schedule;
* Transport students on field trips, special educational trips, and to athletic events selecting the best routes;
* Maintain discipline of students while on bus;
* Clean interior and exterior of bus;
* Service bus with fuel, oil, and water;
* Inspect vehicles daily for proper maintenance and safety, such as tire conditions, air brakes, fire extinguisher, First Aid equipment, emergency exit door operation, and all internal and external lights;
* Complete required inspection reports prior to operation of the vehicle; and
* Prepare statistical reports on daily student loads, miles, type of trip, date, and standby time.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
* Knowledge of California laws and regulations applicable to the operation of vehicles in the transportation of students;
* Knowledge of safe driving practices;
* Ability to drive a bus safely and efficiently;

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Any combination of training, education, and experience that demonstrates an ability to perform bus driver duties. A typical qualifying entrance background is completion of a formal classroom and behind-the-wheel training program approved by the California Highway Patrol for the operation of a school bus.

DATA SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN
BASIC FUNCTION: Under general supervision, perform a multitude of tasks related to the areas of input preparation, processing, printing, filing and distribution of data processing materials; coordinate and provide training for specified systems on campus; and perform related duties as required.
EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
1. Provide user training on the operation of computers, peripherals and the student application package.
2. Monitor available file space, file maintenance and file deletion as needed;
3. Project yearly forms usage for data processing, order forms through purchasing, maintain inventory of forms at site;
4. Back up, reload and copy data files during critical operations;
5. Update the system with new releases and revisions;
6. Utilize and provide user training on current "inquiry" methods;

13. Operate computer and peripheral equipment, i.e. burster, decollator, printers and optical scanners;
14. Organize processing sequence based on priorities determined by school calendar in order to meet deadlines;
