Part-time Description Wash or otherwise clean buses and other equipment. Use such materials as water, cleaning agents, brushes, cloths, and hoses. Scrub, scrape, or spray machine parts, equipment, or vehicles, using scrapers, brushes, cloths, cleaners, disinfectants, abrasives, vacuums, and hoses. Mix cleaning solutions, abrasive compositions, and other compounds, according to formulas. Press buttons to activate cleaning equipment or machines. Clean and polish vehicle windows. Drive vehicles on company property/lot. Turn valves or handles on equipment in order to regulate pressure and flow of water, air, steam, or abrasives from sprayer nozzles. Pre-soak or rinse machine parts, equipment or vehicles by immersing objects in cleaning solutions or water, manually or using hoists. Lubricate machinery, vehicles, and equipment, and perform minor repairs and adjustments, using hand tools. Monitor operation of cleaning machines, and stop machines or notify supervisors when malfunctions occur. Disassemble and reassemble machines or equipment; or remove and reattach vehicle parts and trim, using hand tools. Connect hoses and lines to pumps and other equipment. Maintain inventories of supplies by reporting necessary items needed to Supervisor. Turn valves or disconnect hoses in order to eliminate water, cleaning solutions, or vapors from machinery or tanks. Sweep, shovel, or vacuum loose debris and salvageable scrap into containers; and remove containers from the work area. Transport materials, equipment, or supplies to and from work areas, using carts or hoists. Perform light duty facility maintenance and outdoor maintenance which could possibly include mowing grass, trimming, and light snow and ice removal. Perform other duties as assigned. Report all accidents/incidents involving driver, students or company equipment, immediately. No matter how big or small. Report highway safety hazards noted en route. Promptly report any delays due to breakdowns, weather, or traffic conditions or other emergencies or in the event irregularities relating to the pickup or delivery of students. Maintains student discipline on the bus by following the School District policy on reporting any discipline problems on the proper form and submitting the form to the appropriate company personnel or school district personnel.
