Overview
This is an full-time, onsite career opportunity based out of our Corporate Headquarters in downtown Lancaster or our Fulton Bank office in downtown Lebanon.
Contribute to the profitability and growth of Fulton's commercial banking by building, developing and managing new and existing client relationships with businesses with revenue of $5-25 million dollars. Coordinate loan, deposit and fee income products and services appropriate to the needs of the client. Seek opportunities to network and develop key centers of influence. Identify and successfully capitalize on cross-sell opportunities with bank partners. Achieve and surpass established sales goals within risk tolerance constraints. Assumes responsibility for relatively complex activity and portfolio for commercial banking.
Responsibilities
Identify, source and develop prospective customers with lending, deposit and other financial service needs. Share the Fulton story and showcase the bank's products, services, and employees. Identify new loan, deposit and other financial service opportunities within existing client base during regular client meetings.
Source opportunity, negotiate mutually agreeable terms, navigate the credit underwriting and approval process, document the loan and execute the closing.
Remain close to customer and cooperatively counsel them to support business goals. Understand client's business model and cash flow. Serve as their primary contact for banking needs. Provide annual relationship reviews to understand client's needs and future plans in order to identify appropriate loan, deposit or other financial service opportunities.
Use knowledge of business, finance, banking, credit, and risk management to identify, recommend, and promote solutions that best serve the client and ensure the profitability of the portfolio.
Build knowledge of diverse types of businesses, industries, markets, financial and economic concepts.
Cultivate relationships network of strategic partnerships across the region.
Sustain comprehensive understanding of current commercial products offered in the market and keep informed of all relevant industry trends and practices.
Carries out a variety of business development activities to identify bank prospects. Maintain a stable network of prospective customers with consistent approach to calling.
Focus on driving continual improvement in portfolio revenue growth and new production revenue. Achieve and surpass established sales goals within risk tolerance constraints.
Foster a collaborative team approach with Fulton Partners and Retail Relationship Managers to enhance client relationships. Exemplify the delivery of a superior customer experience. Participate in joint calling efforts for existing and prospective customers with Retail Relationship Managers, Fulton Partners and Senior Leadership.
Keep sales platform consistently updated and uses the platform for client and opportunity coordination. Remain current on new tools that improve efficiency.
Ensure credit review and risk rating practices are continuous, complete and accurate. Gather and review all required financial and related company, industry, management data to monitor ongoing credit worthiness and risk rating accuracy. Monitor management reports to address line reaffirmations, loan maturities, delinquencies, and exceptions.
Understand and contribute to the credit decisioning process, including analysis and interpretation of financial statements.
Establish action plans for troubled credits and/or work with Special Assets Department to resolve problem loans in an efficient manner to protect the bank's investment.
Complete timely resolution to loan documentation and technical exceptions. Stay compliant with all regulatory and bank risk compliance matters.

The salary range for this position is $111,100.00 - $185,100.00 annually.

This job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units. This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.

Pay Details:

Pay Details:
$162,300-$225,000 annually

This role will support customers in an assigned local market by deepening relationships and engaging in prospecting activities. In this role, you will:
Onboard, manage, and grow account relationships with Small Business customers (defined as revenue of $1-25MM) within assigned portfolios
Assess, through review and analysis of moderately complex data, the customer's financial needs and as needed, recommend an effective variety of financial products and services in order to help the customer succeed financially
Develop exceptional customer relationships with a solid understanding of cash flow and small business operating cycle and how business products and services can support businesses in the portfolio
Ensure the overall success and growth of an assigned portfolio by developing deeper relationships of existing customers and managing risk
Effectively collaborate and consult with internal small business partners and stakeholders to independently resolve moderately complex customer or process issues and achieve small business goals
Engage in prospect activities and employ contact strategies focused on generating new small business relationships
Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within small business and contribute to large-scale initiatives related to customer relationships and business growth
This LO position has customer contact and job duties which may include needs assessing and referring those customers interested in a dwelling secured product to a SAFE team member. This position includes assisting customers without taking an application and without offering or negotiating terms of a dwelling secured transaction. Individuals in a LO position also must meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO) outlined in the job expectations below
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Business Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
2+ years of experience sourcing and or managing a portfolio of clients with $1mm - 25mm in annual revenue
Strong knowledge of deposit and cash management products and services
Strong relationship-building and excellent communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally
Ability to balances needs of clients with associated risks and interests of Wells Fargo
3+ years of experience in business-to-business sales
Established network in the local market
Knowledge and understanding of financial services industry
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
A BS/BA degree or higher
Job Expectations:
Position will be responsible for visiting customers and prospects outside of the branch location within an assigned market/geography.
Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) positions must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies. The LO qualification requirements include meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards. A current credit report will be used to assess your financial responsibility and credit fitness, however, a credit score is not included as part of the evaluation. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening, if necessary
