Fulton-Montgomery Community College company history timeline
Located on 195 acres in the foothills of the beautiful Adirondack Mountains between Albany and Utica, the college became the 27th campus of the State University of New York (SUNY) in March 1963.
Fulton-Montgomery Community College was founded in 1963 following approval from the Boards of Supervisors of Fulton and Montgomery counties and the Board of Trustees of the State University of New York.
The campus, located in borrowed facilities in the City of Johnstown, moved to its permanent location at 2805 State Highway 67, Johnstown, for the 1968-69 academic year.
In the mid 1990’s, additional facilities were added to the campus including an art wing, a theatre, and a TV studio.
Doctor Anna Biel joined the faculty in September 2010 as a history instructor.
