Overview: The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of recreational vehicles (RVs) throughout the dealership property. This includes relocating units to service bays, cleaning stations, photo areas, and storage lots. Key Responsibilities:RV Movement & Equipment Operation Safely move RVs of various sizes around the dealership property, including service bays, storage areas, and PDI locations. Transport RVs to designated locations for cleaning, inspections, photography, and staging. Utilize tractors and forklifts as necessary to relocate units safely and efficiently. Lot & Inventory Organization Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lot and company property. Assist with staging and organizing RVs for service work based on daily work lists. Ensure all units are positioned properly and securely when parked or staged. Support Operations & Workflow Follow daily work assignments and complete tasks in a timely, organized manner. Communicate with the Service Manager and other team members to coordinate movement priorities. Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of outdoor workspaces. Safety & Compliance Operate all equipment safely and in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations. Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management promptly. Operate warehouse equipment (hand truck, electric pallet jack, dock stacker/stand-up forklift & cherry picker) to move stock and reorganize inventory. Follow instructions written on shipping orders and/or pick lists. Load pallets of product onto warehouse racks and/or trailers (vans, flatbeds, containers, etc.) Receive and route incoming product/supplies to proper areas Repackage materials Visually and systematically understands bin capacity to fulfill orders picked, put away or replenished. Label cartons as needed per requirements of shipment. Prepare orders for shipping by pulling and staging cartons/pallets of product by amounts needed as instructed by key associates, Leads, Supervisors and Managers. Prepare orders by processing customer/vendor requests; pulling material; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. All specified by picking unit requirements. Retrieve product from upper racks as needed for employees Maintain a fast pace in picking, replenishing and other warehouse functions Use hand-held RF guns/scanners to record relocation of product from storage to staging area. Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. General warehouse cleanup, including but not limited to, sweeping with push broom and mopping warehouse floors, organizing warehouse racks and disposing of cardboard boxes/trash when necessary. Must be willing to work required shift hours as assigned/required by management. May assist with training new associates in basic job functions Excellent attendance and punctuality are expected Other duties as assigned POSITION SPECIFICS: This is a full-time position Shift start/stop times may vary depending on department and business needs. Job Description The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of heavy construction equipment-including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and backhoes-to support site development, earthmoving, trenching, grading, and material handling. This position ensures all work is performed to project specifications, within safety guidelines, and in accordance with company standards. Key Responsibilities: Operate heavy equipment in a safe and productive manner for site preparation, excavation, grading, and material movement. Inspect, clean, and perform basic maintenance on equipment before and after operation. Read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and blueprints to execute work according to specifications. Load and unload materials or equipment as needed. Communicate effectively with site supervisors, spotters, and crew members to ensure coordinated operations. Identify and report equipment malfunctions, hazards, or unsafe conditions to management immediately. Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety regulations and participate in regular safety meetings. Maintain accurate daily logs of work performed and equipment hours. Assist with general labor or site cleanup when required. Qualifications: Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 2-3 years' experience operating heavy construction equipment. Valid driver's license; CDL preferred (depending on project needs).
