Overview: The EquipmentOperator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of recreational vehicles (RVs) throughout the dealership property. The EquipmentOperator is responsible for stocking, replenishment, put-away, consolidation, and bin maintenance functions of product, using manual and powered material handling equipment.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Stock product within storage locations in a neat and orderly manner to avoid damage and/or lost products
Perform replenishments and put away functions as directed by I-Pod device
Verify accurate counts and accurate locations
Handle errors: communicate them to Lead/Manager and ensure paperwork and product is handled correctly, completely, and promptly
Consolidate product to maximize space utilization
Participate in routine cycle counts
Weighs or counts items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards. Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
Meet and maintain accuracy and productivity level requirements
Partake in overall housekeeping of distribution center including cleaning, organizing, dusting, sweeping, etc.

Physical Demands:
This is a General Warehouse position that requires sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and use of hands continuously for eight hours. This position requires lifting/moving up to 50 pounds and occasionally with assistance lifting/moving up to 100 pounds. This position requires extended amounts of time walking and climbing stairs. This position requires frequent work time beyond an eight-hour shift/40-hour week including shift rotation and weekends. This position requires the operation of basic office equipment. The EquipmentOperator 2 is responsible to perform a variety of Warehouse picking/packaging to support the Operations Department. Other duties may be assigned on an “as needed” basis. Employees will receive task training as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must be able to drive all equipment around pedestrians safely and smoothly.
Operate warehouse equipment (hand truck, electric pallet jack, dock stacker/stand-up forklift & cherry picker) to move stock and reorganize inventory.
Follow instructions written on shipping orders and/or pick lists.
Load pallets of product onto warehouse racks and/or trailers (vans, flatbeds, containers, etc.)
Receive and route incoming product/supplies to proper areas
Repackage materials
Visually and systematically understands bin capacity to fulfill orders picked, put away or replenished.
Label cartons as needed per requirements of shipment.
Prepare orders for shipping by pulling and staging cartons/pallets of product by amounts needed as instructed by key associates, Leads, Supervisors and Managers.
Prepare orders by processing customer/vendor requests; pulling material; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. All specified by picking unit requirements.
Retrieve product from upper racks as needed for employees
Maintain a fast pace in picking, replenishing and other warehouse functions
Use hand-held RF guns/scanners to record relocation of product from storage to staging area.
Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
General warehouse cleanup, including but not limited to, sweeping with push broom and mopping warehouse floors, organizing warehouse racks and disposing of cardboard boxes/trash when necessary.
Must be willing to work required shift hours as assigned/required by management.
May assist with training new associates in basic job functions

POSITION SPECIFICS:
This is a full-time position
Shift start/stop times may vary depending on department and business needs. Initial schedules are not guaranteed to be permanent. Any changes will be communicated with at least two weeks' notice. Typical shifts are 8 hours but may require overtime as needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position does not have any leadership requirements and/or responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1-2 years of warehouse experience
1-2 years of experience in electric pallet jack, dock stacker/stand-up forklift & cherry picker.
Must pass certification training & testing.
The ability to communicate clearly and effectively (written and verbal);
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
