Automate testing and validations to run regression test cases. Develop data profiling, deduping logic, matching logic for analysis. Providing senior management and IDEA-VMO with timely status updates and communication of issues. Assist with management reporting. Analyze and test large datasets (Structured and Unstructured data - XMLs, JSONs, PDFs) using big data platform. Would be required to engage using AWS Cloud, Python, PySpark, PIG, HIVE scripts to filter/map/aggregate data. Test R&D and exploratory analysis developments. Demonstrated ability to understand different business domains and become an expert in the business domain. Plays a key role in influencing the stakeholders regarding various strategies, solving problems and decision-making. Possess strong Understanding of data quality and data movement control best practices and standards. Shall be responsible to gather business and system requirements for data movement and controls, develop and document mappings and rules. Handle requirements document. Mandatory Technical Skills Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance or a related discipline or equivalent work experience. 5 or more years of Backend data operations testing experience within the financial services industry. Ability to analyze and assess the adequacy of test scenarios and identify opportunities for test script improvements. 5+ years of data analysis experience, with a combination of business and technical skills Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated 5 + Years in writing and executing SQL. This will include writing or reviewing complex SQL code for the purpose of analysis or testing. Experience with test automation tools. Working experience with data movement/ETL technologies like Informatica. This will include home grown data movement processes in Python and PySpark, SAS data sets and SAS Reporting. Must be able to walk thru the test results with the developers and point out issues. Must have worked with defect and issues tracking tools like JIRA. Command over using Excel and similar tools to help in the testing process. Excellent working knowledge of working with different data base technologies which include, Snowflake, MongoDB, Hive, Sybase, UDB. Ability to connect to some of the above databases using LINUX and perform the necessary analysis. Demonstrated work with XML, JSON, Delimited Files, Spread Sheets as sources from where the data is sourced or where the data is loaded as a target. Ability to guide the team members in the above technologies and train them as needed. Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Good to Have Worked in mortgage origination and underwriting organization. Designed and developed in Python, Big Data Technologies, PySpark, PIG, HIVE, MongoDB SAS, Tableau, IICS, Informatica or other programming languages.
