And, as the first stop for new businesses in the Buckeye State, he is assisting entrepreneurs as they receive articles of incorporation for a new business.Job Description The Safe at Home Assistant and Liaison plays a vital role in implementing and maintaining the Safe at Home program within the Ohio Secretary of State's office by performing the program's administrative functions and primarily executing outreach activities. The Assistant/Liaison will work closely with the Safe at Home Administrator to ensure the program operates reliably, everyone eligible for the program is aware of how they can join, and participants receive the highest degree of service Ohio can provide.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESParticipant Support• Serve as the primary point of contact for program participants, offering information and assistance with enrollment, address updates, and inquiries.• Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity when handling participant information and communications.• Respond to general inquiries from application assistants, participants, and the public over the phone and via email, escalating matters to the Safe at Home Administrator when necessary.Application Management• Inspect and process applications, updates, renewals, and cancellations for participants and application assistants.• Manage the participant roster, including sending renewal reminders and preparing files for cancellation in accordance with office policies.• Sort, repackage, and forward mail to participants, as well as manage return mail processes.Outreach and Training• Conduct outreach activities at least three days a week to raise awareness of the Safe at Home program among eligible individuals and potential ally organizations.• Collaborate with the Safe at Home Administrator to develop and deliver training on program requirements and best practices for stakeholders.• Assist in developing, managing, and presenting training programs for application assistants.Compliance and Reporting• Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and resources related to domestic violence, human trafficking, and sexual violence to ensure accurate information dissemination.• Prepare reports, presentations, and materials to support program evaluation and improvement efforts.• Provide input into policy and legislation related to the program.Additional Responsibilities• Participate in partner association meetings, events, and conferences.• Assist in resolving issues or discrepancies related to program operations or participant services.• Travel frequently, potentially requiring overnight stays.• Perform other duties as assigned.Why Work for the State of OhioAt the State of Ohio, we take care of the team that cares for Ohioans. The successful candidate should have excellent customer service skills, a professional presentation, and a commitment to assisting those in a time of need. The position supports the preparation, execution, and clean-up of funeral services.
Summary/Objective
The position of Part-Time Funeral/Transfer Attendant is established to perform various pre and post-funeral activities that enhances the effectiveness and efficiency of the funeral service and delivers a high quality of service to families and visitors daily.
Primary Functions

Primary Duties but not limited to:
Funeral Attendant- Spring Grove Funeral Homes
· Availability to greet and direct visitors during scheduled calling hours
· Assist Funeral Directors with all phases of visitation, funeral service set-up and support throughout the service as needed
· Assist with floral placements
· Perform general cleaning of the funeral home (dusting, mopping, sweeping, etc.)
· Perform various miscellaneous tasks as directed
· Travel may be required between funeral homes
Transfer Attendant - Spring Grove Funeral Homes
· Responsible for the transporting of the deceased from the hospital, nursing home, residence, prep rooms, or embalming facilities to the funeral home
Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, printers, fax machines, company vehicles, and cleaning supplies.
