Career SummaryOver the past 30 years, Eric has consistently built and grown technology businesses. He has managed businesses exceeding $500M in revenue with a global workforce of several hundred reports across several countries. After studying high-speed semiconductor design and fabrication at Georgia Tech, Eric began his career at Motorola in silicon design and moved on to mobile infrastructure implementation. Eric established his career at Broadcom, Cavium, Marvell, and Inphi by marketing and general management of semiconductors for high-speed networking infrastructure for the Cloud, Telecom, and Enterprise equipment market segments. At Broadcom, he was instrumental in creating the ‘White Box’ switch business, revolutionizing the hyperscaler data center switch market to catapult Broadcom into the undisputed leader of switching silicon and growing revenue from less than $100M/yr. to over $1B/yr. Eric has a proven ability to grow market share by collaborating with customers and working closely with engineering. He develops the vision, sets strategy, constructs roadmaps, and delivers award-winning products that get customers to production. Most Recent RoleEric served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the High-Speed Connectivity business unit reporting to the CEO of Inphi. In this role, he led the company's multi-hundred-million-dollar PAM4 DSP business; overseeing Hardware and Software Engineering development, Product Management / Marketing, Signal and System Architecture, as well as Applications Engineering. Eric drove the annual strategic plan, committed to an annual operating plan, and delivered on the committed P&L. In this role Eric set the long-term vision, expanded the roadmap, and organized the engineering team to deliver 3x revenue growth in 3 years.Corporate Development Eric has been responsible for driving and integrating multiple private company acquisitions over his career. He has made successful corporate investments, participated on multiple startup boards, and is currently advising the CEO of a recently funded company. Eric also has extensive experience with acquisitions and merging large organizations and product roadmaps - Silicon Spice (acq. by Broadcom), Cavium (acq. by Marvell), and Inphi (acq. by Marvell); Broadcom (acq. Level7; Sandburst, Dune-Israel); Cavium (acq. Xpliant); Inphi (acq. eSilicon, Arrive-Vietnam).

Pradeep co-founded Fungible with Bertrand Serlet in 2015. He has been responsible for developing the company’s vision of data-centric computing and for making fundamental contributions to the DPU’s architecture and the architecture of products built using it. In 1996, he founded Juniper Networks, the company widely recognized for inventing and commercializing silicon-based routers-an invention that played a central role in bringing about the Internet age. Over the years he held several key roles at Juniper, including founding CEO and Chairman, then Vice Chairman and CTO, and now Chief Scientist. Pradeep had a hand in the inception, design and development of virtually every product Juniper shipped from 1996 through 2015. Before founding Juniper, Pradeep worked at the Computer Science Lab at Xerox PARC for 11 years developing design tools and multiprocessor architectures. During this period he invented the first cache coherency algorithms for packet switched buses and made fundamental contributions to Sun Microsystem’s high performance multiprocessor servers.

Jai joined Fungible after serving as CTO for multi-billion dollar Systems businesses (Servers, Storage, Networking) at both IBM and Dell. He was an IBM Fellow, IBM’s highest technical honor, and one of the early pioneers who helped create the RAID technology. He also led the team that created the industry’s first, and still the most successful, storage virtualization product and his team at IBM also built one of the fastest and earliest parallel file systems in the world. When he left IBM, Jai was CTO for the $20B IBM Systems Group, responsible for guiding 15,000 developers. In 2012, he joined Dell as VP and CTO for Dell Enterprise Solutions Group. In 2013, he became Head of Research and Chief Research Officer for Dell. Jai earned a Doctorate from Ohio State University, holds 53 patents and has published 82 papers and is a recipient of the IEEE Wallace McDowell Award and the IEEE Reynold B. Johnson Information Systems Award.

Wael Noureddine is one of the founders at Fungible and serves as chief architect responsible for the overall architecture of the Fungible DPU - encompassing silicon and software. Wael has nearly two decades of experience in the design and implementation of high performance protocols and data processors, with emphasis on hardware/ software co-design and application level quality of service. Wael specializes in data center networking, data security, computer architecture and high speed protocol processing. Before Fungible, Wael was Chief Architect and VP of Technology at Chelsio Inc., where he led the architecture and implementation of advanced protocol processing engines, and drove the development of the world’s fastest TCP/IP stack. Wael received a Doctorate and Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Computer and Communications Engineering degree from the American University of Beirut. He holds more than 40 patents and patent applications.
