TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Akron is looking for dedicated team members to pack, move, transport and assemble customers' items, but this job isn't just about the heavy lifting! During moves you'll work face-to-face with customers to ensure their specific needs are met. Every day is different and every move brings new challenges, but our goal is simple; we are here to help our customers. BENEFITS * Movers start at $15 / hour * Earn tips from customers (average of $150+ a week) * Schedule: Monday - Saturday with Sunday off * Achievable daily, weekly, & monthly bonus opportunities * Flexible schedules (full-time, part-time and seasonal available) * Weekly paychecks * Career advancement opportunities RESPONSIBILITIES * Work together to provide exceptional customer service as you safely move, pack, and unpack customer belongings * Greet customers upon arrival and complete a walk-through of the home/business * Load and unload a 26-foot moving truck * Complete paperwork and payment collection * Safely perform daily truck inspections and moving equipment inventory checks REQUIREMENTS We hire for attitude and train for skill; however, experience in general labor positions such as truck driving, construction, landscaping, or warehouse labor is helpful. * MUST BE WILLING TO SUBMIT TO A PRE-EMPLOYMENT BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCREENING * High school diploma or GED Preferred * 18 years or older for movers * Ability to communicate professionally, verbally, and in writing, in English * Good work ethic and a positive, professional attitude * Physical stamina to lift/carry 100 pounds or more repeatedly throughout the day * Good hand-eye coordination This job posting is for a position at the individually owned and operated TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchise located in Canton, OH.
