We are looking for an experienced painter/finisher with a strong background in woodworking, wood preparation, and professional finishing techniques. The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in cabinet or furniture painting/finishing Strong knowledge of wood preparation, priming, staining, and sealing Experience using spray guns and other finishing equipment The ability to match colors, apply smooth and consistent finishes, and maintain quality standards Responsibilities include: Sanding, prepping, and conditioning wood surfaces for painting and staining Applying primer, paints, stains, and topcoats using spray equipment and hand-finishing methods Ensuring consistent color and finish quality across all components Maintaining a clean, organized finishing area and properly caring for spray/finishing equipment A strong commitment to quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and professional finishing standards is essential.     ARS is seeking a full-time Furniture Technician to provide support to our government customers at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The Technician will be expected to assist in the delivery and reconfiguring of modular furniture within the NASIC facility.
