Bookkeeper Role and Responsibilities: * Review, research and process accounts payable and inventory data entry. * · Performs specific accounting functions, i.e., accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow management, etc. * · Keeps track of all monies received, matching receipts and cash tapes and balance. Makes deposits. * · Issues vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records both computerized and hand written. * · Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions. * · Verifies and posts details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts. * · Assists Controller with year-end and audit preparation. * · Completes payroll duties as assigned. * · Provides back-up support for the other clerical positions in the finance department and assumes their duties in their absence. * · Assist with preparation of bank reconciliations for all locations. * · Perform data entry for inventory for all locations. * · Perform all other job functions as assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Create and complete estimates and formal quotations for data and telecommunications, low voltage solutions for our current and future customer base Provide expert knowledge, of IT and low voltage data and telecommunications systems for major projects Develop timely and competitive estimates, correlating to Scope of Work proposals for our clients.
