What You'll Be Doing:
As a Network Engineer, you will design, install, maintain, and evaluate network systems and communications. You will gather user network requirements and provide necessary technical documentation while supporting the multi-enclave environment (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret) that enables users to access data securely across the network infrastructure.

Key job responsibilities
- Act as the primary escalation point for all facilities-related issues. Oversee operation and management of routine and emergency services on a variety of critical systems such as: switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, etc.
- Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures, and troubleshooting of facility within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA).

- Communicate complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Work with IT managers and other business leaders to coordinate projects, manage capacity, and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability and efficiency

A day in the life
This role acts as Amazon's front line when it comes to hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting. They maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical data center facility equipment including electrical support equipment that supports servers that must maintain better than 99.999% uptime. Equipment will include but is not limited to stand-by diesel generators and related fuel systems, 3 phase electrical systems such as switchgear, UPS units, PDUs, and wet cell batteries and associated systems. Mechanical equipment includes CRAHU units, centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, water systems, air handlers and associated systems, pumps, and motors. Additional support equipment is included in the scope of the role which includes fire/life safety equipment, building automation systems, and general facilities equipment.
The CE directs, trains and supports technicians in their role of providing hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operations. Implementation and execution of site/equipment-specific training exercises is also expected. They manage projects from conception to completion. These projects involve independent work as well as collaboration with external support groups including engineering, automation, processing, and finance in both local and global settings. The CE will be tasked with creating and delivering on key milestones, obtaining and tracking quotes for all necessary costs, and documenting project results for future implementation at other facilities.

Harmonia Holdings Group is seeking an experienced SME Network Engineer to support DHS ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Title III and Linguists Unit (T3LU) under the CALEA program.
This role provides hands-on leadership across all network engineering functions, including architecture, routing, switching, firewall engineering, VPN and PKI integration, segmentation design, troubleshooting, and IA/accreditation-grade documentation. The SME ensures the integrity, resilience, and performance of mission-critical CALEA networks and collaborates closely with Systems, Virtualization, Storage, and Field Engineering teams to ensure end-to-end operational success.

Responsibilities
Network Architecture & Design
Design, document, and maintain CALEA network architecture, including:
Layer 2/Layer 3 topology
IP address schema and subnetting
VLAN/VRF segmentation
Routing design (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, static routing)
Firewall zoning, NAT policies, and security segmentation
VPN tunnels, encrypted transport paths, and PKI integrations
COOP/DR network routing and failover paths
Produce and maintain authoritative network diagrams, data flows, trust boundaries, and configuration baselines.

Education and Experience: You have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field. Additionally, requirements include:

Understanding of forensic and investigative system requirements

What You'll Be Doing:
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will plan, design, and implement additions and changes to network hardware, infrastructure server environments, and operating systems. You will provide direct support in the day-to-day operations of network hardware and operating systems while maintaining the reliability and robustness of the underlying infrastructure that supports the forensic and investigative ecosystem across multi-enclave environments.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, coordinate, design, develop and implement additions and changes to network hardware, infrastructure server environments, and operating systems.
Provide direct support in day-to-day operations of network hardware and operating systems.
Troubleshoot at both physical and logical network levels.
Participate in planning, design, technical review and implementation for new network infrastructure.
Perform systems management and integration functions across multi-enclave environments.
Maintain network infrastructure standards including communication protocols such as TCP/IP.
Diagnose and resolve complex communication problems.
Ensure systems are current with approved patches and assist with certification and accreditation tasks.
Develop strategy for client/server systems and design infrastructure to support that strategy.
Advise on selection of technological purchases for processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.
Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities.
Support DevSecOps practices and tools implementation.
