3-5 years of professional cooking experience
Prior restaurant experience required
Culinary degree a plus (not required)
ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)

Responsible for special cleaning duties as assigned
Reports any and all problems, changes, or concerns regarding the department to the Kitchen Supervisor
Responsible for following all kitchen protocols as developed for the Kitchen Supervisor, variances in procedure must be approved in advance

SUMMARY
Prepares, cooks and serves soups, meats, vegetables, garnishes, desserts, and other foodstuffs by performing the following duties. Follows safety and sanitation rules and practices, including correct procedures for lifting and bending.
