Future Electronics company history timeline

1968

Miller worked at a company called Specialty Electronics in Montreal, and then struck out on his own in 1968 to create Future Electronics with a partner, Eli Manis.

Since day one in 1968, we’ve revolutionized the world of electronic components distribution thanks to that mindset.

1976

In 1976, he bought out his partner for $500,000; now the Quebec-based company is one of the world's largest electronics distributors.

1988

The Huntsville office first opened its doors in 1988, and is located at Clinton Ave and Memorial Parkway.

2018

Pointe Claire, Quebec (thomasnet) May 21, 2018 - Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, recently observed the 30th anniversary of the opening of the company's branch in Huntsville, Alabama.
