Pay, holidays, work hours, no one really looking over your shoulder, room for growth.
The union or the floor workers are treated like slaves, no bonuses just pizza every once in a while, everyone upstairs talks about them like they all can be replaced but we up here so special with our degrees. Sometimes the yelling in meetings from our bosses makes people cry. The energy can feel chaotic and really make you not want to show up the next day. A lot of the people running the scheduling of product make our orders late all the time.
Having more pay and more time with my family.
No one likes the CEO. He pretty much told everyone if they don’t like it here then leave. He’s rude.
I would stop moving management all around all the time, find the right people for the positions, and not overload them by making them do 4 peoples jobs and work overtime all the time as a salaried manager. They all want to quit or get burnt out.
Just go in and tell them what your degree is in or what you did in the military. Dominate by becoming the leader of the interview, if your going to move up you better be applying for a position you know more about than the interviewer otherwise they won’t want you.
Compensation is great if you don’t have to work overtime, which a lot of us do, so when salary your not going to be happy
I feel like diversity doesn’t matter at all, it needs to be addressed. The skilled need to come before the color of skin or origin of ancestors.
The best part of my job at G3 is that no one else knows how to do what I do and I have clients that will leave if I do because of the great times we have had together. We’re like a family.
