GA Telesis Landing Gear Services is committed to providing the most comprehensive aircraft maintenance, repair, overhaul, and logistic support services to the commercial rotor and fixed-wing aircraft markets. We are seeking an experienced Landing Gear Technician to join our award-winning team with a focus on the building and tear-down of various landing gears and components. Reporting to the Landing Gear Manager, the ideal candidate will use their experience and knowledge to perform high-quality alterations. This is a 2nd shift position located in Medley, Florida.

Responsibilities:
Complex production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories using manual operations. Follows approved assembly procedures for component or aircraft structures, consulting internal procedures that have been FAA approved, original equipment manufacturers (OEM's) technical data, and work package instructions
Utilization of comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components
Thorough knowledge of aircraft structural modification and repair and the ability to determine the functionality of non-complex electrical systems
Operation of unique aircraft tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes, sheers, etc.
Applies professional technical expertise and guidance to execute complex structures work, including but not limited to pull holes, match & back drilling, fastener removals, riveting, sleeve bolt drilling, and system, wire, and tube installations
Reads and interprets engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements to perform structural modification/repair
Maintains necessary certifications, licenses, and permits as required for assigned work.

Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of a high school education or equivalent and 1 to 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
1+ years of experience removing and restoring aircraft assemblies
Experience assembling aircraft/aerospace parts, components, and/or assemblies using applicable drawings, specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing plans
Possess the ability to construct, install, dismantle, relocate, modify, and/or repair OEM equipment of all types

The Stockroom Clerk plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while complying with GAT processes. This position is location in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and is responsible for providing parts, tooling, and supplies to the Maintenance Department and ensuring all parts and materials are properly stored and protected. This position also assists with marking materials with identifying information using appropriate methods.

Responsibilities:
* Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and parts within the warehouse, picking up parts in the stockroom and warehouse
* Resolves discrepancies between inventory and stock-control records by tracing the history of the item
* Pulls inventory for Sales Order processing and transfers to new locations
* Examine and inspect outgoing material for correct P/N and S/N
* Assembling customer orders from stock and placing orders on pallets or shelves or relocating orders to a holding area or shipping department
* Organize the stockroom and material to be pulled for Sales Orders and Repair Orders
* Provides customer service for both the Sales Department and outgoing Quality Inspection team in resolving order conflicts
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* Bilingual (Spanish)
* Experience with cycle counts and inventory audits
* Aviation experience: must be able to diagnose aircraft parts, materials, and component pieces not in compliance
* Ability to move and handle merchandise throughout the building generally weighing 0 to 50 pounds.
* Ability to operate a forklift and ladder.
* 1 year of experience in aviation industry preferred.
* Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and, Outlook) as well as basic mathematical skills preferred.

Aircraft Mechanic Apprentice position is available for current A&P students. This is an entry-level, full-time position responsible for disassembly, cleaning, inspecting, and tagging aircraft components. Students must have completed all courses toward Airframe in order to be considered. This position is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Responsibilities:
Complex production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories using manual operations.
Follows approved assembly procedures for component or aircraft structures, consulting internal procedures that have been FAA approved, original equipment manufacturers (OEM's) technical data, and work package instructions.
Knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components.
Knowledge of aircraft structural modification and repair and the ability to determine the functionality of non-complex electrical systems.
Operation of unique aircraft tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes, sheers, etc.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements to perform structural modification/repair.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of a high school education and be 18 years of age or older.
Possess the ability to construct, install, dismantle, relocate, modify, and/or repair OEM equipment.
Knowledge of wiring schematics on understanding and reading a manual to install components.
*This is a paid apprenticeship with an hourly rate of $19-21/hour*
