Ensure strategic solicitation planning, rigorous performance management, and strong stewardship practices that result in sustained donor engagement and long term revenue growth.**Achieve and Grow Significant Fundraising Targets** Maintain full accountability for achieving or exceeding the Region's annual fundraising goal, currently exceeding $14 million annually, while managing departmental expense budgets. Navigate dynamic revenue environments, including increased targets during major domestic disasters, with agility, discipline, and confidence. Monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual performance of team members and channels and adjust strategies as needed to ensure sustained success.**Lead and Scale a High Impact Corporate Major Gifts Program**Drive innovative corporate fundraising and partnership strategies through dynamic annual and multi year plans that grow revenue, deepen engagement, and diversify the corporate donor base. Personally engage in strategies for robust major corporate partners across the region, while providing leadership and accountability for a team of three corporate major gifts fundraisers reporting to the Chief Development Officer. Own the renewal and expansion of key relationships and the pursuit of new revenue, especially during disaster response and other high impact moments. Set a high standard for strategic discovery, cultivation, solicitation, and world class stewardship to consistently exceed regional goals. **Lead Fundraising When Communities Need Us Most** During grey skies when disasters are unfolding locally and nationally, the CDO leads with discipline and urgency through swift execution, prioritization of donor relationships and modeling resilience. They manage the team with clarity and accountability, coaching through uncertainty, sustaining morale and driving both restricted and unrestricted fundraising to meet the moment.**Mobilize Boards and Volunteer Leaders for Philanthropic Impact** Act as the fundraising subject matter expert and as the primary liaison between the development team and Regional Board Philanthropy Committees supporting Chapter Boards in fulfilling their fundraising responsibilities. The Tech Support Analyst will install, troubleshoot, and repair software and/or equipment. The Tech Support Analyst will solve user's routine to moderately complex problems with network or applications software for internal and external users. Will also partner with and provide support to Red Cross IT End User Services volunteers. The work location for this exciting opportunity is located at 995 E Broad St., Columbus, OH. The selected candidate will work from this Red Cross office and need to be able to travel within a 5 minute to 4 hour radius of the office up to 10% -15% of the time. Standard work hours are 8:00 - 5:00pm. We work a 40 hour work week schedule, Monday - Fridays. Growing out of engagement with the 2021-2024 Synod on Synodality, the sixteen-university network housed at Loyola University Chicago's Institute of Pastoral Studies seeks to cultivate synodal leadership across Catholic Higher Education nationally, in close conversation with local dioceses and international partners, including the Holy See. Housed at the Institute of Pastoral Studies, the Director serves as the executive officer for the CENTERS Initiative, ensuring that collaborative projects, fellowships, convenings, communications, evaluation, and budgeting proceed on schedule, and reflect synodal principles. Other responsibilities include developing and aligning with the consensus of the Steering and Leadership Committees, liaising with Lilly Endowment, overseeing day-to-day operations, coordinating the inter-institutional network, and driving strategic planning and implementation for all grant-supported activities. Utilizes development prospect management system to facilitate regular reporting of donor and gift activity and to manage achievements of fundraising and personal goals. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience is required and an advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of five years in major gift or gift planning fundraising with successful cultivating and soliciting experience is preferred. Experience promoting and managing such programs is highly desirable. Experienced candidates from the financial, estate, and/or philanthropic planning, law, and trust administration fields are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of the technical aspects of planned giving vehicles as well as an extensive knowledge of fundraising principles and techniques in a large organization is desired. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and strong interpersonal skills are required.
