Derek White leads BBVA's Global Customer Solutions area to bring the transformation around excellence in product and services to the customer. Customer Solutions includes the main creation areas of the bank such as Business Development in all countries, Global Products, Marketing and Digital Sales, and core new capabilities (Design and Big Data). It also integrates the global businesses of Insurance; Prevision, Asset Management; Global Wealth, Payments and Consumer Finance, and New Digital Business - which focuses on investing in and launching new fintech businesses, as well as bolstering collaboration with the startup and developer ecosystem. Derek joined BBVA in March 2016 and is based in Madrid. Prior to this he worked for Barclays, which he joined in 2004, through the acquisition of Juniper Bank, where he was an early member of the start-up internet bank. In his last role at Barclays, Derek led the U.K. bank’s digital banking initiative, embracing disruptive technologies and the startup ecosystem, while overseeing the design and launch of market leading applications, platforms and services. Prior to joining Barclays, Derek was an entrepreneur and was part of the team that created the world’s first internet bank (wingspan). He also spent time at First USA Bank (now JPMorgan Chase) in the U.S.

Bryan Brooks is a Chief Financial Officer at Galileo Financial Technologies and is based in Salt Lake City, Utah.

I started in the film industry in October 2010 as a production assistant, knowing next to nothing about film. Within 3 years, I was helming six figure commercial campaigns as a director, writer, and producer.

Most recently, I served as Executive Producer on feature film THE WAITING, starring James Caan, which is premiering at the SXSW Film Festival.

I excel at managing budgets and coordinating a wide range of elements, both creative and logistical. I have an untarnished track record of delivering projects on-time and on budget. My work on feature films has given me experience working with challenging personalities under stressful conditions for long hours, and still getting the job done. I carry this experience with me to all projects: television, film, commercial, industrial, corporate, or other.

Seth McGuire is the Chief Revenue Officer at Galilego. He is responsible for expanding Galileo’s business relationships and scaling marketing and business development functions for additional growth.

Prior to joining Galileo, McGuire was president and COO at Backbone PLM, where he managed the company’s revenue, operations and overall company performance. Earlier, he spent nearly six years at Twitter in senior and management positions, including managing Twitter’s data and enterprise solutions business to support companies and developers using Twitter’s API platform to build new products and services. He also was responsible for overall go-to-market and partner strategies, including creating business-to-business partner solutions, and customer success.

McGuire holds an MBA from University of Virginia Darden School of Business and is a graduate of Georgetown University.
