The benefits are pretty good. I at least have enough tenure that I can somewhat speak my mind without feeling like my job is in jeopardy.
The executives minus the COO are all awful. They don’t care about anyone but themselves and money. They don’t listen to concerns. The sales leaders and the leaders in inventory are some of the worst managers I’ve ever seen.
Being able to WFM on Fridays.
Nothing. He’s created a culture where people are terrified that they are going to be fired.
Fire the executives. Overhaul the company. Actually make the employees feel good about being there.
I knew I was over qualified for the job.
I am paid well for my position.
We are diverse at the employee level but they say it’s a great place to work for diversity… yeah because they are counting the warehouse in the numbers. I see a lot of white men in leadership.
Going home.
Once you have five years of service, your PTO is actually decent. They currently offer people in the Lexington area a hybrid work schedule.
Pay raises were rare, folks basically had to threaten to leave to get a raise. Bonuses are even more rare. They paid one management bonus in over a decade. So, not good. They don't back-fill positions, meaning more work for those who are left on the teams. There is not clear direction from upper management, and the CEO is a self important narcissist that told employees on a town hall to leave the company if they were unhappy. And a lot of them have.
PTO, paid holidays, hybrid work schedule
Not much, they leave a lot to be desired. The COO and CFO positions have been turned over multiple times in the last several years. The CEO is really not interested in the needs of the employees and even stated that raises were only going to the top 10% of achievers, if you don't like it, stop complaining and get another job.
I would fire the entire executive team, including all C-Suite, All VPs and All Senior Directors, including HR. This company needs a complete overhaul at the executive level.
I had four of five interviews. I basically researched the company and took notes.
Lower than standard or average. Galls seems to have a history of underpaying for talent, even though they employed multiple consultants to benchmark the process.
I think Galls overall is relatively diverse. It is overwhelmingly white and male in the top leadership positions though.
Going home. Getting a paycheck.
