Jim Clifton is Chairman and CEO of Gallup a global analytics and advice firm. Clifton has served as CEO of Gallup since 1988, and is the author of the #1 Wall Street Journal bestseller It's the Manager, the bestseller Born to Build, The Coming Jobs War, and writes The Chairman's Blog. He is the creator of the behavioral economic framework, “The Gallup Microeconomic Path,” a metric-based economic model that establishes the linkages among human nature in the workplace, customer engagement and business outcomes, which is used by over 500 companies worldwide. His father was psychologist, educator, and author Dr. Donald O. Clifton, who founded of Selection Research, Inc. (SRI). Under Jim's leadership, SRI acquired the Gallup Organization in 1988.

Since joining Gallup in 1985, Harter has authored or coauthored more than 1,000 research studies, some of which have been reported on in bestselling management books, academic articles, book chapters, and publications such as USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times. He is coauthor of ''Manage Your Human Sigma,'' published in the Harvard Business Review. Harter earned his doctorate in psychological and cultural studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Jim and his wife, RaLinda, and their sons, Joey and Sam, live in Omaha, Nebraska.

John Fleming is a Chief Scientist at Gallup.

Since joining the firm in 1996, Dr. Tao Wu has been an integral part of Gallup’s management consulting team, leading many of Gallup’s top client engagements in China and Asia. Dr. Wu has consulted with more than 100 local and multinational companies to help them solve their most pressing marketing, customer, employee and leadership problems. His client portfolio spans the industries of financial services, automobile, real estate, telecommunications, energy, retailing, IT, and consumer products as well as government agencies.

With Gallup and ICF certifications, Dr. Wu has led many of Gallup's executive training courses and offered leadership coaching to a variety of clients in China and Asia.

Over the past decade, Dr. Wu is also responsible for Gallup’s World Poll in China and has written and spoken extensively about the China market and Chinese consumer.

Before joining Gallup China in 1998, Dr. Wu was a research director at Gallup US. Before that, he taught voting behavior and public opinion at Arizona State University.
