A manufacturing company is seeking a Finish Grinder to work second shift from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Set-up and tend Grinding Machines to grind various cutting inserts with materials such as PCD, PCBN, Carbide, and Ceramic Operate machine tools such as manual and CNC Grinders to produce parts Follow instructions and charts during grinding procedure Review electronic or written blueprints or specifications for a job Determine grinding speeds and feed rates, fixturing, and grinding wheel to be used Use manual and computer-controlled machinery, write basic programs, and modify programs in response to problems Perform other duties as required

This client is a manufacturer of enclosures that are used in the construction and industrial fields to keep wires and electronic parts out of the elements. Hours: Monday through Friday 6:00am-2:30pm or 2:00pm-10:30pmStarting pay is $17+/hr based upon experience. Responsibility for the following areas: Grind, sand, and polish stainless products. Correct defects. Prepare surface for further finishing. Mark cracks and splits for repair. Polish and grind materials according to specification Load or remove work pieces from worktables. Clean equipment and worktables. Maintain or repair equipment. Follow guidelines and templates. Record processing data in GS. Record product data in GS. Able to read and understand Bill of Materials (BOM) and Routers. Must know what components are, in relation to the Bill of Materials. Must be able to read assembly instructions to assemble product. Able to assemble product based on the Bill of Materials & other documentation Must be able to verify product with drawings (Where applicable) Must be able to verify product based on Work instructions Must be able to lift 50 pounds or greater. Qualifications:Prior experience with grinding/finishing in a manufacturing environment. Job Description Machine Operator (Highly Skilled) - 3rd shift - $2426/hour Feeder bar/Metal Cutting Responsibilities: Check pieces to the quality standards and dump 4 lbs. basket Adjust machines as required to keep parts in tolerance Change tooling as needed Tumble parts for eliminating burrs, and chips as needed Manual dexterity for adjustments and loading of the machine. Install tooling for setup and tooling is placed in the proper place per the setup sheets Requirements: Read and understand blueprints Metal Cutting Must be able to use and understand measuring devices and equipment such as, calipers, micrometers, pitch micrometers, hardness tests and thread gages Must pass all ISO training within the first month Lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
