SCCs will be embedded at the BDE level. Most work will be performed in a Military training environment (i.e. fitness centers/gyms, BDE or administrative areas, outdoors, ranges, field training environments, and at the SPRC).
SCCs will be required to observe BDE and below (i.e. BN, company, platoon, squad, team) specific training events (e.g., obstacle courses, combatives, training areas).
Support quality assurance efforts, ensuring all work performance aligns with H2F objectives.
SCCs may be embedded within H2F Performance Teams across BDEs at various Government installations.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited college or university; it is highly desired that the degree is in a related field.
Must possess a passing score from the Board of Certification (BOC) by the NSCA as a CSCS or by the CSCCA as a SCCC.
Have three years of relevant SCC work experience within the last five years. Relevant experience is defined as developing and executing task and environment specific functional injury control and health/well-being programs for groups of athletes or DoD/Department of Homeland Security/Department of Justice entities focused on a common sport or mission performance goal. Please note - Employment related to internships or graduate work for only up to one year is considered as relevant experience.
Have a current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross with Automated External Defibrillators (AED) certification. Must be a U.S. citizen.

The Assistant Coach, Indoor Women's National Team (WNT) is a regular full-time position reporting to the Head Coach, Women's WNT. This role is responsible for the competitive performance of national team athletes and overall standings. Extended hours may be required to include nights, weekends and holidays. Summary of Duties and Responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to:
Assist the Head Coach with all aspects of the Women's Indoor National Team program.
Recruit, evaluate, and select athletes into the WNT Program and Pipeline.
Make final determinations of athletes to represent the United States in National Team Events.
Prepare and manage the WNT budget.
Participate in the strategic planning process for WNT Programs.
Select, train and evaluate Team's technology personnel and support staff.
Coordinate all WNT competitions and camps.
Plan and develop, in consultation with Head Coach, an annual competitive schedule for the WNT.
Work with sport performance multi-disciplinary team to optimize athlete health and performance.
Create individual training plans for athletes and create pre-practice tutoring sessions.
Create and maintain offensive and defensive scouting reports.
Provide tactical adjustments during competition.
Work with performance coach analyst and provide post-match debriefs.
Provide input to head coach regarding personnel decisions, athlete rosters, and match strategy.
Research international volleyball trends and continue to refine training systems.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in sport administration, sport science, or related field or equivalent work experience is required.
Demonstrated volleyball coaching experience is required for this position. Elite level volleyball coaching is preferred.
Ability to travel extensively (domestic and international).
Must be able to successfully pass a USAV background screening (prior to hire date).
Must complete SafeSport training within two weeks of hire date and keep current as a condition of continued employment.

General Responsibilities:
Teaching basic water polo and swimming skills
Manage an attendance sheet and take notes on athletes, as needed
Work with other coaches to implement practice plans and drills

Key Responsibilities Academy Swimming - Elite-Level Oversight
Design and manage a high-performance training curriculum for year-round Academy athletes

Build a competitive meet calendar aligned with national qualifying standards (Futures, Juniors, Trials, etc.)
Recruit, hire, and lead a staff of performance coaches; ensure consistency in methodology and standards
Facilitate college recruiting and advancement through strong collegiate and professional swim network connections
Partner with Academy academic leadership to support student-athlete success in both academics and sport
Grassroots & Club Program Development
Oversee the design and delivery of swim lessons, developmental teams, age-group training, and seasonal clinics
Build a scalable curriculum aligned with USA Swimming and LTAD (Long-Term Athlete Development) frameworks
Establish family communication protocols and swimmer progress tracking tools
Develop, hire, and mentor coaching and instructional staff across all age groups and skill levels
Operational Leadership
Ensure facility usage supports both competitive training and community access
Coordinate with internal departments (Aquatics, Performance, Events, Operations) for facility readiness and support
Track athlete performance and retention metrics to inform program improvement and growth
Represent The St. James professionally with families, schools, and the regional swimming community
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Sport Management, Education, or related field (Master's preferred)
Minimum 7 years of coaching/program leadership experience, with at least 3 in a senior-level or head coach role
Proven track record of athlete development, team growth, and college-level placements
In-depth understanding of elite stroke technique, training methodology, and competitive pathways
Experience managing staff and scaling multi-tiered swim programming
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed
Passion for swimming and a belief in long-term athlete development
