What You'll Do:
As a Sports Event Staffing Intern, you will:
Work directly with the Senior Event Manager with the staffing and event management of all Auburn Athletic events as well as other venues in the Southeast region.

Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and managing event-day staff
Help coordinate staffing logistics before and during Auburn Tigers home games and campus events
Complete payroll for assigned events
Support communication between staff, supervisors, and venue personnel

Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and leadership development workshops

Responsibilities:
Management candidates will begin their employment in our extensive hands-on Manager Training Program. Our paid training program allows candidates to further develop their leadership skills while also preparing them to fulfill a management-level position in the Oil Change department. Advancement is based on performance, and the majority of our upper management and corporate employees have been promoted from within.
Our Oil Change Manager Trainees will also be responsible for performing minor light duty automotive repairs such as brakes, tires, suspension components, sensors, etc. Must be able to perform oil change services, 20-point maintenance checks, as well as greet customers in a positive, enthusiastic, professional manner while ensuring that each customer is educated on the products and services that we offer. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, sweeping, mopping, picking up trash, cleaning restrooms, removing snow, and performing light maintenance. Computational discovery and/or characterization of next-generation materials systems

Anticipated areas of interest for 2026 internships: Candidates are strongly encouraged to highlight relevant atomistic experience and projects of interest in their cover letters/resumes. Extra attention is paid to experience in the detailed comparison of simulation results or trends to experimental data.
Phase transition and analysis of interfaces: thermodynamic/kinetics of solidification, nanoparticle growth, or gas phase condensation.
Microkinetic modeling of chemical reactions: etching, corrosion, and thermal management.
Surface contact under extreme conditions: Abrasion, wear, migration and stiction with large external fields.
Mechanics of amorphous ceramics: surface residual stresses, crack propagation, stresses due to mismatched interfaces.
Development of free-energy methods combining the throughput and flexibility of classical potentials and accuracy of DFT-based machine-learned interatomic potentials
The ideal candidate has experience in quantitative simulations with one of these methods:

Next Generation Compute - As an intern in Accenture's Next-Gen Compute practice, you will work with senior engineers and architects to design cutting-edge high-performance computing (HPC) environments and prototype tools that help enterprise evaluate HPC solutions for AI and other advanced computational needs. You'll apply your expertise to build and validate HPC systems at hyperscale and contribute to building technical advisory tools that automate solution fit.
Responsibilities may include:
* Assisting in the design, deployment, and configuration of HPC systems across on-prem and cloud environments.
* Working with GPU-accelerated compute clusters to set up networking, storage, and clusters with their orchestrations.
* Supporting the validation and benchmarking of HPC environments.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams on the deployment of HPC systems in real-world use cases.
* Contributing to the design and development of a technical advisory tool for HPC solutions
* Collaborating with infrastructure engineers to ensure alignment with real-world system architectures
* Supporting testing and usability improvement of the tool.
Qualification
Basic Qualifications
* Currently enrolled in a Masters of PhD program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields a graduation of December 2026 or later
* 1+ years of experience in an area relevant to Accenture Innovation Technology research foci including, but not limited to, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
* Understanding of core HPC components: compute nodes, interconnects, parallel storage, workload schedulers
* Experience with systems operational tools, such as Linux administration and shell scripting
* Experience with containerization, such as Kubernetes
* Experience in the deployment of HPC infrastructure supporting large-scale AI services
* Experience in IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm, etc.
* Experience with observability tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
* Familiarity with HPC hyperscalers' cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, GCP
* Proficiency in Python, Javascript, or similar programming languages
* Experience with web development frameworks, such as react, Flask, Django, etc.
* Understanding of data structures, such as JSON, SQL, etc.
* Experience with HPC infrastructure and systems
* Experience with AI/ML software tools, libraries, and applications
