Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate, Project Management, or Business Administration required.
5-7 years of experience in facility maintenance, property management, or a related discipline.
Proficiency in HVAC systems, Fire Life Safety (FLS), emergency systems, construction, and engineering principles.
Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Strong understanding of vendor contracts, SLAs, and operational compliance.
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required. Travel between sites will be a requirement of the role.
Preferred Qualifications
EPA 608 Universal Certificate.

Job requirements

About the Role
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician 1, you will perform maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and other building systems in accordance with standard operating procedures, internal requirements, manufacturer specifications, and safety policies.
This position focuses on routine and preventive maintenance tasks and does not include supervisory responsibilities. You'll work closely with supervisors and the Work Control team to complete assigned duties accurately and efficiently, helping to keep facilities safe, functional, and in top condition.

Key Responsibilities
· Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on buildings and equipment, including HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
· Execution: Carry out tasks assigned by supervisors or Work Control, documenting and finalizing work requests as needed.
· Work Orders: Respond to, complete, and close work order requests in the CMMS system, ensuring accurate time and task reporting for tracking and billing.
· Safety: Follow all C&W Services safety policies and maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Basic Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
· General knowledge of tools, building maintenance procedures, and industrial facility equipment.
· Ability to perform basic maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
· Strong written and mathematical skills.
· Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required. Travel between sites will be a requirement of the role.
