Essential Functions
Be a Bestway brand ambassador who reflects and
promotes Bestway's commitment to have the best products at the best prices
delivered by the best people in the business.
Timely deliver, install, and demonstrate
products at our customer's home in a safe and respectful manner.
Protect all merchandise with the use of
blankets, shrink wrap, and hand trucks while moving or loading product. When in
doubt overprotect versus under protect.
Have the ability to learn and develop the skill
to assemble products as well as do minor touch ups, repairs, and refurbishment
to ensure all products are rent ready within 48 hours.
Build great customer relationships by utilizing
communication and service skills to ensure customer retention and enhance the
customer's experience during all customer interaction.
Assist in managing customer's accounts by
securing on time payments and collecting on delinquent accounts at customer's
home and in the store.
As a brand ambassador always represent yourself
and your company in a professional manner.
Complete weekly vehicle inspections ensuring
proper maintenance is performed for safe driving and ensure daily that vehicles
are clean and stocked with proper tools and accessories.
Assist in maintaining the highest quality
showroom presentation that creates a customer friendly sales environment.
Be responsible for maintaining, organizing,
protecting, and storing products in stock room area.
Actively learn about the products we offer. Be a
product knowledge expert.
Use hand receipts on all product returns and
payments in the field.
Complete all other tasks assigned at the
discretion of management.

Whether inbound aircraft is to land immediately or circle and whether distances are lengthened to control the arrival of an aircraft at a given point.
The active runway and possible simultaneous use of other runways.
The time and methods by which arrivals and departures can be interspersed with the least delay to traffic.
When landing and departing aircraft are cleared to use the runways to assure standard separation between aircraft on the runways.
The sequence of arriving traffic, before it enters the traffic pattern, to assure a safe, orderly flow of aircraft on the final approach to the landing runway.
Endure that Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) separation standards are applied, as delegated by approach control or the center, in limited areas around the airport to provide initial separation between IFR arrivals and IFR departures and between successive IFR departures.
The sequence of Visual Flight Rules (VFR) and Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) traffic, and when delegated, using radar equipment to provide initial separation for arrival verse arrival and arrival verse departure IFR traffic.
When Visual Flight Rules (VFR) flights through the Class D airspace can be authorized.
Determines the usability of communications frequencies and other navigational aids used to control air traffic. Monitors navigational aids and control panels, including tower radar display to determine the acceptability of its alignment and display presentation. Instructs pilots to change radio frequencies/transponder codes.
When appropriate, coordinate with other controllers on the movement of both arrival and departure aircraft.
When traffic conditions warrant, controllers in non-approach terminals are responsible for:
Preplanning traffic sequencing and separation over an area, which may reach out to a radius of 5 miles or more.
Preplanning and setting up checkpoints required to ensure the maintenance of necessary traffic separation.
Maintaining a continuous mental picture and evaluation of constantly changing traffic, frequency dispersed throughout his/her area of jurisdictional responsibility.
Maintaining continuous radio watch with aircraft that have previously contacted the facility.
MANAGING Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) TRAFFIC FOR AIRPORT:
Studies weather reports and forecasts, obtain LAWRS/SAWRS weather certification, observes weather from the tower, and records pilot reports to determine the effect of present and anticipated weather on traffic; furnishes aircraft with information such as field conditions, altimeter settings, weather conditions, operating status of navigational aids, and observed malfunctioning of aircraft; forwards to the weather bureau, AFSS, and the appropriate center/approach control, pilot weather reports and reports based upon personal observation of weather conditions; operate light guns, runway lights, field lighting, jet barriers, etc.
Orients pilots of aircraft lost or in difficulty; determines whether a given situation may develop into an emergency; and notifies airlines operations offices, airport management offices, and airport rescue and firefighting services.

Student will work directly with Bartlett Performing Arts Center staff to experience the various aspects of operating a performing arts center, including: Event planning, Box Office administration, Facility operations, and Interaction with the public. Student will learn how BPACC prepares for events like plays, concerts, and summer camps from start to finish.
Human Resources
Student will work directly with the City of Bartlett's Human Resources Department. This student will work under the supervision of the department Coordinators to assist in customer service, scheduling interviews, and/or pre-employment physicals, compiling documentation for onboarding, and special projects.
Police Department
Student will work directly with Bartlett's Police Department personnel throughout the summer. Student will be exposed to the daily operations and workings of the police department. This student will also see first-hand how the court system works in our city when it comes to prosecuting criminal cases and traffic violations. The student will gain experience as they assist our Public Information Division throughout the summer and will see how the Police Department interacts with the citizens we serve.
During the Summer Youth Program, each student will be held to the high attendance standards. In addition, they must adhere to the established work schedule and are expected to perform the assignments provided effectively. To participate in the program, students must complete the described application process:
* Complete the online application by Friday, February 27, 2026.
* Provide documentation from Bartlett City Schools confirming enrollment and the following:
* 2.5 GPA or greater
* Satisfactory attendance and disciplinary record for the 2026-2027 school year.
* The most recent report card or progress report is acceptable, along with a letter from a school counselor or teacher.
* Interview with the director of the selected workgroup
After the interview process, Mayor Parsons will make the final selection from the compiled pool of applicants upon recommendation by the applicable director.
Each student will be assigned a mentor and receive practical training during the program. The selected students will receive $14 per hour and will be expected to work 20-25 hours per week.
Program Guidelines
* Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and a rising senior enrolled in Bartlett City Schools.
* Must live in Bartlett, Tennessee.
* The children of City of Bartlett Employees are eligible to apply.
* The first day of work for students will be Monday, June 1, 2026, and the last working day shall be no later than Friday, July 24, 2026.
* Students are expected to provide their own lunch.
* A student with three (3) or more unexcused absences will be removed from the program.
* Students MUST provide his/her own transportation to and from assigned work locations.
* Dress attire will be determined by the director overseeing each workgroup upon selection.

Starting Hourly Rate: $27.03 Senior Transportation Officer (after 6-9 months on average based on performance): $30.01 Bonuses: * Sign on bonus - $3,500 * Safety & Performance Bonus: up to $500 per quarter (every 3 months). $1,000 quarterly after promotion to STO! ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Responsible for the safe and orderly operation of the assigned trip in a manner that promotes public safety, staff safety and the secure and humane environment for inmates, detainees and/or residents. * If qualified, may be assigned as the Assistant Officer in Charge (AOIC) on trip activity unless otherwise directed by their supervisor. * Monitor and supervise inmate, detainee, and/or resident activity per TCA policy. This includes listening to complaints and effectively resolving disputes or problems, taking corrective action, protecting inmate, detainee and residents rights, and completing all required documentation in accordance with TCA policy. * Follow sound safety practices and ensure that any injuries or accidents are reported in a timely and accurate manner per TCA policy. Take appropriate action in cases of serious or unusual incidents and emergencies circumstances. * Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and briefings as required. Maintain and promote effective communications and the proper flow of relevant information to management and fellow team members. * Maintain communication with Trip Management throughout the routed trip. Consult with Trip Management and/or Field Office Supervisor personnel in assessing situations and making decisions. Will not deviate from planned trip route unless cleared and/or directed by proper TCA authorities. * Complete preventive maintenance of equipment and ensure readiness of restraints, weapons, OIC kits, vehicles, etc. * Ensure effective management and control of resources to include inmate/detainee and/or resident medications and property. * Maintain appropriate relationships and communications when dealing with fellow staff members, all customer agencies and inmates, detainees and/or residents. * Application of restraints and the Use of Force will be strictly followed according to TCA policies and customer contract requirements. * Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned. * Must achieve and maintain Officer in Charge (OIC) certification to be eligible for assignment as an AOIC.
