Our Production Team is Kind of a Big Deal!

UniFirst is seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner to join our UniFirst Family. As a Team Partner in the Shaking and Pressing Department, you will be working on a team to help ensure quality assurance for our customers by utilizing a 20-point inspection process and pressing garments for a finished appearance. At UniFirst we have a 5-day work week, enjoy Saturday and Sunday off!! We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.

What you'll be doing:

* Press garments on a pressing machine
* Visually inspect all garments for tears, holes, stains and damage
* Ensure all garments pass the UniFirst 20-point uniform inspection process
* Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
* Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

* High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
* Must be at least 18 years of age or older
* Ability to stand for 8-hour shift
* Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
* Ability to perform basic mathematical functions using American standard units in weight, measurement, volume, and distance
* Ability to lift garments no more than 10 lbs. at a time and push heavy carts no more than 50 lbs

Staples garment inspector job description

**Rate of Pay: $ 20.50/hr**

**Shift: Sunday-Thursday 10:30pm-7:30am**

**Temperature Controlled Building**

**What you'll be doing** :

+ **Your Shift hours will be Sunday-Thursday 10:30pm-7:30am while working in a temperature-controlled building/environment**

+ **Inspects embroidered products (e.g., shirts, sweatshirts, coats, sweatpants, shorts, etc.) and prepares them for shipping or storage**

+ **Uses work order to determine proper design placement on the garment.**

+ **Review work orders**

+ **Remove embroidery design backings**

+ **Fold and stack package products**

+ **Sorts finished products according to colors and sizes**

+ **Attaches barcodes, stickers, and hang tags to products when necessary.**

+ **Completes production tracking paperwork and verifies that it is accurate.**

**Qualifications :**

**What's needed- Basic Qualifications:**

+ **Knowledge of related embroidery equipment including their uses, adjustments, and maintenance.**

+ **Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 3-4 feet high in order to move and stack boxes and totes full of products.**

+ **Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, and grip throughout work shift.**
