The program includes: 2,000 hours minimum of on-the job training 144 hours or more of related instruction per year 50+ hours of safety training per year Incremental wage increases as the apprentice gains experience Position - Toolmaker Location - this apprenticeship will be situated in our Delano, MN location, and will include external training partners within the Twin Cities Metro area. Eligibility - qualifications include a high school diploma, at least one year of manufacturing experience and a basic understanding of the Toolmaking process. Timeframe - the program is designed to include four years' worth of instruction. This time can be adjusted if a participant has applicable experience and can "test out" of certain components within the program. There is a 500-hour probationary period. Completion - upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion and, when applicable, a Journeyworker card from the Department of Labor and Industry, Apprenticeship Unit.
