We seek an experienced and highly skilled Stormwater Practice Lead to join our Kansas/Missouri Water Team. As the Team Leader, you will oversee and manage a team of civil engineers focused on stormwater related infrastructure projects. This position is responsible for the daily oversight of construction materials testing and inspection activities on active construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements. The Digital Built Environment Technician will support the creation of accurate 3D models of existing facilities, primarily using Revit and point cloud data produced with various reality capture workflows. Specifically, this responsibility will include a variety of projects related to leading the planning, design, and commissioning of: Building HVAC system(s) Building plumbing system(s) Building fire protection system(s) Whole building energy modeling Building sustainability requirements reporting In addition, this role will include coordination with other support disciplines, and coordination with regional offices. Assisting project managers in management of projects. Following quality assurance and quality control plans. Periodic travel to project sites will be required. Abilities and attributes needed for this position: Knowledge of mechanical engineering and sustainability principles Mentor and train technical staff. Interfacing with clients on project design, delivery, and construction. Managing project budget and schedule compliance. Overseeing the mechanical design of building projects throughout the project lifecycle from the conceptual phase, design phase, and construction phase. Utilizing BIM design software to produce construction drawings Utilize Microsoft Excel based calculation tools for design calculations Manage multiple assignments concurrently Be responsible for time management and product quality Follow Quality Assurance and Quality Control Plans Be responsible for continuing education and learning based on project needs, as well as overall needs of the team. Requirements Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering with a mechanical focus from an ABET accredited university or college. Garver seeks a Project Manager - Hydrology and Hydraulics to join our growing Transportation Team with the ability to collaborate with clients and design engineers on engineering projects for federal and state agencies, municipalities, and other jurisdictions. Primary responsibilities of this Project Manager will include working with an established team to perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design for municipal and DOT clients across Garver's footprint. Along with collaborating with multi-disciplinary design engineers, this role will include management, marketing, subconsultant coordination, project/task scheduling, plan production oversight, preparing cost estimates, and client interaction.
