Duties you will be responsible for:
Answer all incoming calls and route them to appropriate personnel; take messages and send task as necessary for all care centers.
Schedule, confirm, and cancel office appointments as patients call in.
Work on referrals and import demographics from patient portal.
Pick up voicemail messages on a daily basis.
Verify patients health plan benefits & obtain authorization, if needed.
Assist patients with questions and/or concerns regarding procedures
Request medical records from doctors and hospitals
Call-in new prescriptions and refills and obtain authorization if necessary
Obtain lab results including stat requests

Minimum Requirements

Greet patients in a pleasant and timely manner.

Ensure the patient has a current referral on the date of service. Obtain referral if necessary.

Duties you will be responsible for:
General Administrative
Coordinates with Principal Investigator, local site, and Central Hub to help ensure that clinical research and related activities are performed in accordance with federal regulations and sponsoring agency policies and procedures.
Assists the PI in development of materials and tools necessary to appropriately train individuals involved in the conduct of the study around issues related to (but not limited to) protocol requirements, schedule of visits, execution of research plan. Maintains documentation of training.
Assists Principal Investigator to assure that all key personnel or persons ‘engaged' in the research project have met training requirements in accordance with federal regulations and university and sponsoring agency policies and procedures.
Cooperates with compliance and monitoring efforts related to sponsored program administration and respond to any audit findings and implement approved recommendations.
Coordinates and facilitates monitoring and auditing visits. Notifies appropriate institutional officials of external audits by FDA and sponsors.
Protocol Preparation & Review
Attends investigator meetings as required or requested by the PI.
Collaborates with the Regulatory Specialist to prepare IRB and any other regulatory submission documents as required by the protocol.
Prepares other study materials as requested necessary. These study materials include, but are not limited to, the informed consent document, source documents, enrollment logs, and drug/device accountability logs.
Establishes and organizes study files, including but not limited to, regulatory binders, study specific source documentation and other materials.
Conduct of Research
Reviews and comprehends the protocol, e.g., study proceedings and timelines, inclusion and exclusion criteria, confidentiality, privacy protections.
Assists PI in communication of study requirements to all individuals involved in the study. Provides appropriate training and tools for study team members. Documents date of training and signatures of study personnel trained on study specific training log.
Develops and implement recruitment strategies in accordance with HRPO (IRB) requirements and approvals.
Conducts or participates in the informed consent process and discussions with research participants, including answering any questions related to the study. Obtains appropriate signatures and dates on forms in appropriate places. Assures that amended consent forms are appropriately implemented and signed.
Screens subjects for eligibility using protocol specific inclusion and exclusion criteria, documenting each potential participant's eligibility or exclusion.
Registers each participant in CTMS to ensure billing of study procedures to the appropriate funding source.
Coordinates participant tests and procedures.
Collects data as required by the protocol. Assures timely completion of Source Documents.
Maintains study timelines.
Maintains adequate inventory of study supplies. If handling investigational drugs/devices, follows the sponsor protocol and/or Gastro Health Research Policy on Investigational Drug/Device Accountability.
Completes study documentation and maintains study files in accordance with sponsor requirements and procedures including, but not limited to, consent forms, source documentation, narrative notes if applicable, case report forms, and investigational material accountability forms.
Retains all study records in accordance with sponsor requirements and Gastro Health Research policies and procedures.
Maintains effective and ongoing communication with sponsor, research participants and PI during the course of the study.
Works with the PI to manage the day to day activities of the study including problem solving, communication and protocol management.
Project Closeout
Assists the Principal Investigator and Regulatory Specialist in submission of accurate and timely closeout documents to applicable federal agencies, and the sponsoring agency in accordance with federal regulations and sponsoring agency policies and procedures.
Arranges secure storage of study documents that will be maintained according to Gastro Health Research policy or for the contracted length of time, whichever is longer.

Provides Liaison between the providers of health care services, the patient, or other responsible persons, and revenue sources, to ensure the correctness of charges, a current record of all transactions, and account resolution
Maintains active communications with insurance carriers and third-party carriers until account is paid.
Negotiates payment of current and past due accounts by direct telephone and written correspondence.
Updates patient account information
Monitors and identifies payer denial trends and problem accounts; communicates patterns to supervisor.
Runs a monthly aging report based on DOS and current A/R to identify accounts that require follow up.
Manage all assigned worklist on a daily basis for assigned insurances.
Utilize collection techniques to resolve accounts according to company's policies and procedures.
Report any coding related denial to the Coding Specialist.
Performs other duties including but limited to faxing information as required, generating retroactive authorization requests, and verifying medical eligibility.
Conducts necessary research to ensure proper reimbursement of claims.
Assist with special projects assigned by Billing Manager or Supervisor
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least 2 years' experience in insurance collections.
Knowledge of medical terminology utilized in medical collections and billing (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS)
Knowledge with letters of appeal.
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel and Office products is required.
Experience with HMO, PPO, and Medicare insurances.
Must be able to read, interpret, and apply regulations, policies and procedures

Here are some of the duties you will be responsible for:
PRESCRIPTION ORDER REVIEW AND CLARIFICATION:
Prior to the dispensing of a medication:
- Verifies source of prescription;
- Contacts Physician's offices for clarification or questions on any orders or prescriptions written by the Physician;
- Provides Clinical advice to Physicians regarding medication treatments;
- Obtains any and all information necessary from Physician to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medications to the patient;
- Resolves prescription discrepancies.
PRESCRIPTION DISPENSING:
- Takes prescription orders over the telephone from Physicians or their agents;
- Verifies correct drug is being dispensed and the drug matches the prescription order;
- Verifies correct patient for dispensing;
- Verifies correct route of administration;
- Verifies correct drug dosage and strength;
- Verifies correct administration schedule or time (directions);
- Includes appropriate manufacturer or other patient education materials with dispensed drug(s);
- Obtains insurance authorizations as required;
- Investigates and manages insurance denials as required;
- Completes quality control and DUR check on prescriptions, ensuring all policies, procedures and laws are adhered to;
- Provides patient-specific consultation on all aspects of their medication regimen;
- Maintains appropriate records and computer entry of prescriptions and patient information;
- Documents patient interventions with adequate detail in both clinical and non-clinical records as appropriate;
- Reports adverse events to the appropriate collector, such as MedWatch or a manufacturer, in a timely manner.
OVERSIGHT OF PHARMACY SAFETY:
- Responsible for the overall safety and security of the facility and its operations;
- Maintains accountability for general supervision of the pharmacy staff;
- Provides direct supervision of the processes involved in dispensing and preparing medicines;
- Ensures compliance with FDA mandates and self-imposed manufacturer restrictions on particular drugs, as applicable;
- Enforces all federal, state and local laws and regulations pertaining to drug dispensing and patient privacy, as well as company policies and procedures.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In the temporary absence of the Pharmacist-In-Charge serves in the capacity of supervising Pharmacist.
- Partners with Regional Sales Manager by participating in business development activities.
- Remains dependable and maintains levels of confidentiality;
- Ensures that patient rights are upheld and supports informed decision making by the patient;
- Establishes and maintains effective professional relationships with prescribers;
- Possesses the ability to recognize the needs of and express concern for others.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
Successful completion of state pharmacy board examination.
Pharmacist license current and in good standing in the state of Insert State of Practice Here.
Maintains continuing education requirements.
Three to five years' experience in the practice of pharmacy, and one year of experience working with patient management program preferred.

Duties you will be responsible for:
Under the general direction of the Imaging Manager, perform examinations of patients of ages 13 or above for the purpose of assisting in the diagnosis of patient illness.
Position patients for scans using patient positioning methods and protective equipment as necessary.
Performs General Abdomen, Gynecological Pelvic and Small Parts ultrasound imaging procedures.

Ensures patients are seen at their appointment time and must be notified if there are any delays. Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
Completes and signs Patient Screening form and explains the procedure to the patient.
Maintains patient care, comfort, and safety during transport to and from the exam table and during the exam.
Maintains technical competency through continued education and participation in company sponsored training programs.
Cooperates with facility healthcare personnel and complies with facility policies and procedures.
Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems. Calls for service and notifies all pertinent team members.

Assist the pharmacist in prescription workflow such as:

Duties you will be responsible for:
Serve as the liaison or coordinator for the patients medical care
Streamline all patient-physician communications to ensure patient satisfaction
Provide medical literature and clinical preparation instructions to patients
Assist patients with questions and/or concerns regarding procedures
Schedule all procedures to be performed by the physician
Review the physicians schedule for maximum scheduling efficiency
Schedule all diagnostic tests, procedures and follow-up appointments
Obtains all authorizations for procedures and tests
Schedule follow-up appointments including recalls
Check-out patients at the end of their visit and provide next step instructions
Request medical records from doctors and hospitals
Returns patient calls promptly and professionally
Call-in new prescriptions and refills and obtain authorization if necessary
Obtain lab results including stat requests
Complete tasks from Electronic Medical Record
Reviews open orders every three days and works accordingly
Sends history and physical forms to outpatient facility
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
