Duties you will be responsible for:
Handle all administrative tasks and duties for the physician/provider
Serve as the liaison or coordinator for the patients medical care
Streamline all patient-physician communications to ensure patient satisfaction
Provide medical literature and clinical preparation instructions to patients
Assist patients with questions and/or concerns regarding procedures
Schedule all procedures to be performed by the physician
Review the physicians schedule for maximum scheduling efficiency
Schedule all diagnostic tests, procedures and follow-up appointments
Obtains all authorizations for procedures and tests
Call patient to confirm procedures a week in advance
Schedule follow-up appointments including recalls
Check-out patients at the end of their visit and provide next step instructions
Request medical records from doctors and hospitals
Returns patient calls promptly and professionally
Call-in new prescriptions and refills and obtain authorization if necessary
Obtain lab results including stat requests
Complete tasks from Electronic Medical Record
Reviews open orders every three days and works accordingly
Contact patients with test results
Sends history and physical forms to outpatient facility
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA) preferred
2+ years experience as medical assistant required
Medical terminology knowledge
Bi-Lingual Preferred (Spanish)

Duties you will be responsible for:
General Administrative Provides assistance to Clinical Research Coordinators, local site, and Central Hub in accordance with federal regulations and sponsoring agency policies and procedures in compliance with Good Clinical Practice.
Performs activities in accordance with established policies and procedures related to clinical research study protocols, including but not limited to: answering phone calls, screening participants for eligibility, and registering subjects in Real Time.
Responsible for organizing the lab, and maintaining inventory of clinical supplies such as lab kits, phlebotomy supplies.
Assist in ensuring that study materials and lab kits are shipped and resupplied as requested.
Supports members of study/project teams; reviews source documents, reviews clinical procedures, drafts new procedures or revisions to existing procedures.
Participate in ongoing clinical and study specific training.
Communicates, as necessary with vendors and supporting functions at site level.
Any other task assigned by the Clinical Research Coordinators and Central Hub Protocol Preparation & Review Attends investigator meetings as required or requested by the PI and Clinical Research Coordinator.
Responsible for compiling source documents for active studies and ensuring source binders contain the appropriate documentation to screen upcoming patients. Prepares other study materials as requested necessary.
Collects data as required by the protocol.
Assures timely completion of Source Documents.
Responsible for processing and shipping labs.
Responsible for assisting in EDC completion.
Completes study documentation and maintains study files in accordance with sponsor requirements and procedures including, but not limited to, consent forms, source documentation, narrative notes if applicable, case report forms, and investigational material accountability forms.
Maintains effective and ongoing communication with the PI, Clinical Research Coordinators, and research participants during the course of the study.
Supports members of study/project teams; reviews source documents, reviews clinical procedures, drafts new procedures or revisions to existing procedures.
Works with the PI under the Clinical Research Coordinator to manage the day to day activities of the study including problem solving, communication and protocol management.
Project Closeout Assists the Principal Investigator,
Clinical Research Coordinator and Regulatory Specialist with archival of study records in accordance with federal regulation, Gastro Health Research policies, and sponsoring agency policies and procedures.

Job Description
Drop claims for office, hospital, nutrition, pathology, biologics, imaging, pediatricians, anesthesia, and endoscopy center for accurate processing by payers
Review medical documentation from EMR and hospital systems for accurate coding and billing to insurance companies
Apply current billing and coding guidelines
Evaluate that charges provided by the physicians support the level being billed based on the documentation
Prepare claims with necessary fields for processing, such as linking authorizations to charges, code blood work, and assigning appropriate modifiers as needed
Provide feedback to office managers and physicians regarding clinical documentation to ensure compliance with coding guidelines and reimbursement reporting requirements
Manage claims for auditing purposes, including placing them on hold and billing once the process is complete
Email office managers and physicians where updates are needed to operative reports
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Must have CPC or equivalent certification
Extensive knowledge of patient registration, coding, billing, regulatory requirements, billing compliance, business operations, financial systems and financial reporting.
Certified coder AAPC or AHIMA
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Able to analyze data and quickly identify process-based issues for remediation.
Maintains confidentiality in all matters that include Patient Health Information and employee data.
Hands-on participation in process/workflow design including team member involvement across the department.
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel and Office products is required.
Target Oriented and Coding team resolution mindset
Prior experience collaborating with a remote team is highly preferred.

The role encompasses comprehensive management of billing operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in billing, collections, and support activities. Duties you will be responsible for:
Daily Duties
Scan procedure reports
Assist with recalls
Calculate procedure costs
File documentation into eCW system
Other duties as assigned
Front Desk duties
Ensure patient has current referral on date of service. Obtain referral if necessary.
Verify insurance benefits and eligibility prior to office visits & procedures.
Collect all applicable co-payment, coinsurance, deductible or outstanding balance from the patient & post all payments collected.
Research & assist patients with questions regarding balances including collecting applicable payments.
Medical Assistant duties:
Triage patient, take vitals, enter chief complaint, past & present history into EMR system.
Enter all current medications and prescription into EMR system.
Ensure patient charts are complete and required records are requested.
Call-in new prescriptions and refills and obtain authorization if necessary.
Care Coordinator duties:
Schedule all procedures to be performed by the physician.
Obtains all authorizations for procedures and tests.
Check-out patients at the end of their visit and provide next step instructions.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent
2 years experience as a medical assistant or similar setting (AAMA certification preferred)
Medical terminology knowledge required
Bilingual (English/Spanish) (Preferred )
eClinicalWorks (eCW): 1 year (Preferred)
GI Experience desired

Duties you will be responsible for:
Greet and room patients, ensuring appropriate patient flow
Update patient's medical chart with accurate and timely documentation
Manage phone triage and take appropriate action under the direction of the provider
Demonstrate ability and appropriate technical skills when administering treatments and procedures in accordance with physician's orders
Provide patient education as well as personal patient care to provide comfort and well-being to acknowledge physiological and psychological needs
Under direction from providers, process refills for prescriptions following clinic protocol
Demonstrates positive interpersonal relationships in dealing with fellow clinic employees, managers and providers
Take direction and initiate actions that will allow cross-functional duties to ensure seamless patient care
Follow safety procedures in compliance with OSHA and state health department guidelines
Minimum Requirements

The individual will be responsible for examining daily tissue biopsies prepared by laboratory personnel, tasked with checking the accuracy of lab tests and interpreting the results in order to facilitate the patient's diagnosis and treatment. He or she works closely with laboratory staff and plays a vital role in providing timely results as part of a patient's primary health care team. M-F Availability.
Principal Duties:
This is not an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities, but rather a general description of the work performed by this position.
Ensuring daily specimens are diagnosed in accordance with College of American Pathologists turnaround time standards.
Ability to work collaboratively with other pathologists, including internal quality assurance and intradepartmental consultation.
Capable of maintaining an efficient workflow when diagnosing biopsies.
Comply with all safety and regulatory policies.
Education:
Medical degree and appropriate licensing; American Board of Pathology Diplomate preferred.
Experience:
Previous experience dealing with gastrointestinal pathology sign out, including either 1 year of fellowship or 2-5 years of experience in general surgical pathology sign out with gastrointestinal pathology exposure.
Compensation:
Based on productivity.
