What you will do
Johnson Controls is hiring a Senior Staff Electrical Engineer to provide technical support to the global Product Technical Support Tier I, II, & VI teams and also to our Field Sales & Service organization to resolve complex technical issues. This position is based onsite in New Freedom, PA. Candidates must be commuting distance to the facility, or able to relocate.
How you will do it
Provide technical support for our New Product Introduction (NPI) team and to create and maintain literature for the instructions.
Provide day-to-day technical support for key Accounts to Field Sales & Service organization on a global basis via site visit, phone, fax, or email.

Drive product reliability through the Continuous Improvement Process for both existing products and new products being introduced. Product Technical Support Subject Matter Experts (SME) provides technical support and interacts with quality team and engineering to improve overall life cycle cost. The SME should be able to assist in test plans to prove out new and or existing product equipment offerings.

Mechanical Engineer
As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a key role in advancing quartz sand processing technologies, driving innovation to meet evolving market and application needs. Assist in the development of new quartz sand processing utilizing technical expertise in mechanical engineering to meet new market/application demands.
Support the modification of existing sand processes and the development of new sand processing methods to impact product quality, throughput and yield.
Responsibilities include mechanical fabrication, machine assembly and modification, support of prototyping, gauge development, pilot testing, and transfer to manufacturing.
Support documentation and procedure creation and modification regarding validation of process and equipment.
Support EHS compliance of new and modified processes.
Participate in problem solving (root cause analysis) during process development with internal EHS, Quality, etc.) groups as needed.
Apply statistical, surface and materials characterization tools for process improvement, failure analysis and troubleshooting.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience in statistical design and analysis of experimental data including design of experiment, hypothesis testing and Gage R&R.
Demonstrated strong hands-on mechanical aptitude.
Ability to do hands-on work in an industrial environment with necessary PPE.
Good written and oral English communication skills
Experience working with statistical software such as Minitab.

About the Role
The Project Engineer, MRP is the primary lead for new MRP system implementations, guiding projects from initial discovery through go-live. This role combines project management, technical implementation, and customer-facing leadership to ensure clients achieve a successful launch and are fully prepared for ongoing operations.
Project Engineers gather business requirements, configure and install the Connected Shop MRP system, deliver comprehensive training, and provide hands-on go-live support. They ensure a smooth transition to the Success Management/Support Team by documenting workflows, customizations, and key handoff notes. In addition, they support the sales process through discovery calls, demonstrations, and input into customer quotations, aligning pre-sales expectations with project delivery.

Thermal Management Application Development Engineer
In this role at Momentive Technologies, you will collaborate across commercial, technology, and operations teams to design cutting-edge thermal management products tailored to customer needs in the high-end specialty electronic markets such as aerospace. RESPONSIBILITIES

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 5+ years of experience in aerospace, semiconductor equipment manufacturing or related fields.
Proficient in mechanical design and material property characterization.
Experience in CAD tools such as SolidWorks for modelling and drawing generation and/or Ansys for thermal and structural simulation.

Responsibilities & Qualifications Position Overview:
The Novelis Uhrichsville, OH team is seeking an Electrical Engineer! The person in this role will report to Engineering, Maintenance, Reliability and Automation (EMRA) Leader. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of the Electrical Engineering function, such as design, maintenance, construction, and installation of equipment modifications. With the opportunity to work with every type of machinery that you can envision, you will develop effective solutions to problems arising with the plant equipment.
Responsibilities:
Solve encounters centered around meeting production needs in the face of tight, frequently revised schedules and/or equipment failures, the start-up of new equipment, development of new products and processes.
Optimize equipment utilization and efficiency by applying the latest development in machine procedures, diagnostic equipment, and more reliable electrical components.
Develop practical solutions to repetitive equipment failure problems that contribute to the effectiveness of the maintenance effort.
Contribute engineering expertise to project work and selection of replacement or new equipment to help ensure consistency and standardization of components and ease of maintenance.
Ensure all equipment recommended, repaired, or modified meets all company and governmental safety and health rules and regulations to help ensure safety and wellbeing of employees.
Assist in the development of engineering or maintenance procedures and repair work to ensure they are safe, effective, and efficient. Expand, continually, knowledge of engineering and maintenance principals and practice.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, equivalent engineering degree
Min 5 - 10 yrs. of practicing electrical engineering in a manufacturing environment
Experience with AC and DC motor control, Medium and Low Voltage switchgear, and electrical control systems
Excellent communication (oral and written) skills; ability to communicate with all levels in the organization
Desire to take initiative and develop a pro-active relationship with employees through follow-up, understanding their needs and fostering a collaborative relationship
Ability to organize and prioritize responsibility; must be able to manage multiple tasks at once without sacrificing attention to detail
Must be flexible and able to operate in a fast-paced and demanding environment
Must also possess leadership skills to direct, lead and develop other personnel to accomplish personal, plant and corporate objectives
Good digital literacy and experience with AutoCAD and or AutoCAD electrical
Must be able to use Microsoft Office software, including but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and machine safety
Vendor and contractor management experience
Data analysis skills a plus

Opened in 1985 the Uhrichsville facility produces flat rolled aluminum coil. The Recycling mill prepares scrap aluminum that is used in the rolling mill to create rolled aluminum coils to a desired gauge. Anneals temper the aluminum then it is leveled and sized to customer specification. Employing more than 400 people the facility produces aluminum sheet for building and construction automotive distribution transportation and consumer durable applications.
