Works in collaboration with outpatient site managers, supervisors, team leads and coordinators to support nursing staff needs Assist professional development supervisor with development and ongoing maintenance of New Manager Training Program, Ambulatory Nurse Leader program, and developing, implementing, and maintaining ongoing professional development programs and opportunities. Completes ambulatory clinical skill mix assessments systemwide, providing clinical operations teams assistance with nursing skill mix optimization. Reviews ambulatory nursing position justifications to ensure appropriate scope assignment. Supports organizational and site-specific efforts for service excellence, financial accountability, quality improvement, and patient safety. Maintains documentation for fiscal impact tracing. Evaluates quality of care administered in assigned areas, makes rounds, and assures timely communication of significant operational issues.
