Summary:
This individual is fashion obsessed and client and brand centric with all efforts. With the goal of supporting client needs through styling efforts, this individual is a passionate brand ambassador who is responsible for promoting brand engagement with clients, partners and within their city. This role will act as a representative of Rails in the daily business operations of the store, and support all store initiatives set out by management including superior client engagement, store upkeep, operational support, ensuring visual standards while driving for sales results and KPI goals.
The Sales and Stock Associate reports to the Store Manager.
Responsibilities:
Performance:
Support floor coverage, financial targets, visual merchandising standards, client service, and operational functions within the store both front of house and back of house
Be a support to execute business plans to accelerate the business forward and remedy opportunities

Be an ambassador to the brand and promote the culture of Rails internally and externally
Ensure store atmosphere upholds the image of the brand

Support the acquisition and retention of clients are key focuses and as such create and cultivate client relationships for the store and brand overall

Marketing & Community:
In partnership with Store Management Team, bring to life activations/ events in the store that seek client acquisition and focus on client retention/ development
Team Leadership:
In alignment with Store Management continually coach, motivate, train and develop internal teams so they achieve performance goals and are set up for success with growth opportunities within the organization
Support a positive work environment with teams and throughout store network including cross functional partners
Support performance management initiatives with store teams
Attend and participate at store meetings as required by the business

Visuals:
Support the image of the store and ensure that is in line with corporate standards and store team is upholding these standards
Operations:
Ensure all inventory initiatives are completed including receiving, return to warehouse, transfers, regular cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and processing are completed in accordance to company guidelines as required
Protect all company assets including cash handling, inventory, expenses etc.
Support Client Consignment business, ensuring a quick turnaround, strong take rate, and effective and efficient logistics for merchandise movement
Ensure omnichannel functions, including Order-in-Store, Ship-from-Store, Pickup-in-Store, Reserve-in-Store, with a focus on achieving Omni-specific KPIs
Provide support to ensure that all processes are compliant with legal, safety, and internal procedures
Partner with cross functional partners including Stores within network, Operations, Visual Team, CRM, Retail Training, HR, Merchandise teams, Regional management as necessary
Additional projects/ responsibilities may arise in accordance with the needs of the business
Requirements:
At least 1+ years of experience in a retail apparel environment preferred
Fashion enthusiasts and retail experience within women's and men's apparel preferred
Ability to effectively create, manage and adhere to deadlines
Familiar with key retail performance indicators
Adaptable, a sense of openness, active listener, and compassionate
Advanced organizational skills, writing and communication skills
Expertise in Microsoft Office 365 Suite

Pricing & Margin Management
Set pricing targets for categories and items to maximize sales and profitability.

Identify opportunities to grow sales while managing markdown risks, ensuring optimal pricing and profit margins.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Ensure clear communication and alignment with the inventory, logistics, marketing and digital commerce teams regarding program projections, new item launches, SKU plans, promotions, and other key factors that impact inventory and sales performance.
Financial & Budget Management
Work within budget constraints to maximize profitability and ensure financial targets are met. Monitor budget variances and develop action plans to address potential shortfalls or overspending.
Monitor inventory health, using sell-through data to address slow-moving or unproductive inventory. Develop and execute strategies for clearing aged inventory while maintaining profitability.

Who You Are
Experience:
5+ years of progressive experience in retail buying for a warehouse club or mass retail environment. Proven track record of increasing responsibilities and decision-making authority.

The Associate Technical Designer supports the Technical Designer in all aspects of technical design to ensure that products meet established standards for fit, quality, and consistency. The Merchandise Allocator is accountable and responsible to drive and maximize sales, margin and inventory productivity through effective allocation of merchandise inventory to retail stores and ecommerce. YOU HAVE

We are seeking a creative and passionate Design Intern to join our growing, dynamic team in our Orange County, CA Design Studio. This Design Internship offers a unique opportunity for aspiring fashion designers to gain hands-on experience in the industry. The Design Intern will contribute to the creation of fresh, innovative collections that align with the brand's vision. The Intern will work closely with the Design team to assist in various aspects of the design process, from concept development to final product creation.
Key Responsibilities
Stay up-to-date with fashion trends, conduct market research, and gather inspiration from various sources to inform design decisions.
Create detailed sketches and digital renderings of designs, illustrating concepts and translating ideas into visual representations.
Assist in choosing appropriate fabrics, materials, and trims for each design, considering factors such as aesthetics, functionality, and cost.
Learn and contribute to the technical design process, ensuring accurate and well-fitting prototypes.
Collaborate with the product development team to ensure the development of samples meets our expectations and quality requirements.
Produce tech packs including sketches, artwork, construction details, and sewing instructions.
Participate in fittings to evaluate fit and make necessary adjustments.
Maintain organized design records, including sketches, prints, submits and samples.
Actively participate in design critiques and incorporate feedback to improve design concepts and prototypes.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Design or Apparel Design.
A strong passion for women's fashion and trends.
Proficiency in sketching by hand or digitally and knowledge of design software including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Basic knowledge of fibers and fabrics.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics.
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Must have a few days of open availability and be able to work a minimum of 20-25 hours.
