The responsibility of a Fire Sprinkler Fitter is to install sprinkler head, valves, and steel and CPVC pipe in newly constructed structures and renovations to existing structures with minimal supervision.
Cut, fabricate, and install steel pipe and CPVC pipe as designed for fire sprinkler system.
Install and hang a variety of pipe, sprinkler heads, fittings, valves, hangers and other fire protection components in accordance with blueprints and construction documents.
Install and trim a variety of valves for wet, dry, and pre-action fire protection systems.
Read and interpret blueprints and construction documents to ensure sprinkler system is constructed as designed.
Ensure all work areas remain clean, safe, and orderly while working and at the end of the workday.
Clean, inspect and service required tools in accordance with company policies.
Ensure all tools, equipment, and supplies are secured and accounted for while on the job site and prior to the end of the workday.
On a daily basis, reports to field foreman on progress and/or job-related problems.
Assist in the training of sprinkler apprentices.
Understand and follow FLSA's Safety program, SDS book, Hazardous communication program, policies, and procedures. Participate in weekly Toolbox talks. Fitters must know where all related safety documentation is at all times on each project.
Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The qualifications listed below are representative of the elements required to perform the job successfully, however in some cases, an equivalent combination of Education, Training, Certifications and Experience may meet the job qualifications.
Education, Training, Certifications:
HS Diploma or equivalent, required.
Experience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements:
3-5 years' experience installing pipe systems and valves, required.

Construction experience, preferred.

Overview:
As a Service Plumber, you will work within our residential plumbing department. This position is full time and will require travel within the RI, MA, CT area.
Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and replace various residential Plumbing systems, sometimes in confined or high places
Provide world-class customer service to our customers on a daily basis
Complete paperwork in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain clean work area
Work closely with all other workers and supervisors while maintaining a polite, professional attitude
Arrive on time to all jobs ready to work
Attend company meetings as necessary
Adhere to all safety and handbook policies
Qualifications:
Holds a Journeyman or Master Plumber license
Must have prior residential or commercial experience
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Must be able to work on-call and weekend hours
