Resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisors depending on the level and complexity. Follow established standard work procedures, processes, and policies. Demonstrate good attendance, quality, attention to detail and all safety policies. Participate in team meetings to exchange job related information. Follow proper start-up, shut down, and change over procedures. Proficiently access information and perform transactions as needed within ERP system. Coordinate material flow process without interruption to lines, including Kanban visual management systems. Ability to work independently. TPM - Total Preventative Maintenance Troubleshoot issues and determine if problems are mechanical, electrical or from computer system controlling process. Once diagnosed, must repair, or replace necessary components with assistance from peers or supervisor depending on the level of complexity on non-high voltage electrical troubleshooting. Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement, including safety, product flow, lead times, through-put, and cost. Suggest and implement improvements of existing equipment, designs, and/or processes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. Requirements Generac internal certification, equivalent internal work experience, or external certification. Demonstrated experience effectively training other employees to work instructions/standard work. Previous experience using SAP or equivalent ERP system (Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics). Primary Function The Residential/Commercial Service Technician III responsibilities include but not limited to; customer site visits, servicing and/or installing equipment, repairing equipment, delivering salt and maintaining customer relationships.
