We are hiring a Material Process Analyst for the Berlin, WI location. This position will report up to the Manager Supply Chain. The Materials Process Analyst is responsible for all internal processes and related systems (ERP) involving material flow. The scope includes inbound supplier material through outbound finished goods including all distribution centers and production facilities. The Materials Process Analyst is a key operations resource to help improve internal efficiencies (avoidance of line shortages), customer on time delivery, and inventory turns (inventory accuracy). This role is responsible for driving business solutions and practices utilizing Generac's Operating Model to help manage material flow. Success in this role is defined by documenting and implementing standard work processes and system usage that has significant continuous improvement in material handling, inventory accuracy, cycle counting, shipping and timely transactional reporting. What You Will Do Engineer Interns are designed for aspiring engineers who are seeking expedited training, professional development/mentorship, exposure to operations leadership, career growth, help support innovation, process efficiency, equipment reliability, quality assurance, and more with an overarching focus on compliance, safety & health. Build relationships with key partners to build trust and mutual benefit. Ensure compliance with OSHA and GP safety requirements, conduct daily and weekly safety meetings and assessments, issue and review safe work permits, and advocate for safe construction practices. Detect gaps in the construction process and conduct field quality audits were necessary, while working with project teams/contractors to develop means to mitigate gaps. Review and understand the scope of work and all aspects of construction for each specific project. Work with the director of construction management, project managers, technical COEs, procurement, and mill teams to determine the appropriate contract and construction strategy for projects. Our internship program is seeking talent from the following discipline or a related field: * Construction/Construction Science Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Enrolled in a degree or alternative program (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.). * Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. * Ability to relocate per program requirements. * Eligible for full time employment on or before Summer 2028. * Able to travel What Will Put You Ahead * Enrolled and currently pursuing a degree in Construction or related Engineering degree program. * Experience in the pulp & paper industry * Demonstrated leadership experience.
