Reporting to the Operations Supervisor the Paint Room Attendant role involves painting, printing and auditing the quality of the products, as well as verifying if they are compliant with the specifications What a typical day looks like: Checks the cleanliness of pH, water levels, and inks. Determines the concentrations of the chemicals used in the work area. Analyzes the color scheme and verifies the color matching is correct. Checks product parts to be painted. Provides support on product specifications. Checks pieces according to painted samples. Performs serigraphy printing. Keeps track of all procedures. Carries documentations checklist and shares it with supervisor. Prepares print setting techniques. Coordinates and trains new personnel to the area. Is in constant communication with staff to notify the customer demands. Checks parameters of paint in accordance with quality plans. Supports the incoming material. Conducts metal printing. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to surfaces according to predetermined specifications. Responsibilities & Duties: Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed. Select and mix paint colors to match the desired shade and texture. This position is located on-site in Sedro-Woolley, WA. POSITION DESCRIPTION A Painter is responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to a variety of surfaces in industrial and facility environments. The primary responsibilities will vary based on the type of painting required. These duties may include preparing surfaces, mixing and applying paint or coatings, and ensuring all work is completed according to specifications and safety standards. The position involves using various tools and equipment to ensure the proper application of finishes and coatings. The following are the generalized duties expected of a Painter: Prepare surfaces for painting by removing contaminants such as grease, dirt, rust, and old pain Set up and maintain equipment and tools required for painting tasks Mix and apply primers, paints, and other coatings to ensure proper coverage and finish Mask areas that should not be painted Ensure the proper application of coatings, including multiple coats where necessary Ensure safety protocols are followed and that the work area remains clean and organized Operate scaffolding, ladders, and other access equipment safely Maintain inventory of necessary supplies and materials Follow safety protocols, such as using appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment), handling hazardous materials correctly, and adhering to environmental safety standards Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings Perform general maintenance of painting tools and equipment Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or department lead A Facilities Painter works in office buildings, warehouses, or other facility environments, applying coatings to interior and exterior walls, ceilings, floors, and other surfaces.
