· Adheres to supplier and company quality and freshness standards in inventory and loading practices.
· Promptly prepares all required reports.
· Operates company equipment safely and according to company guidelines.
· Reports all equipment service problems in a timely manner.
· Keeps truck neat and clean.
· Completes all assigned stops.
· Is pleasant and courteous to all customers and the public.
· Reports for work on time and appropriately dressed.
· Receiving and shipping of products, equipment, merchandise, and supplies.
· Ability to read, write, add, subtract, multiply, and divide at a high school equivalency level.
· Follows credit procedures.
· Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements

· Must possess a valid driver's license.

· Must be able to lift from 5 to 150 lbs. multiple times per day.

As a Truck Driver, you will be expected to drive cars or trucks, make deliveries and pickups with minimum supervision and direction. Must crate and box machines or other products involving rough carpentry work. Will assist in loading and unloading raw and finished materials. Will assist the receiving team in the checking-in of receivable and perform general work as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Deliver and pick up parts/materials with company truck.
Load and unload trucks.
Accurately move parts/material to proper locations.
Must maintain an operator license for lift trucks and automobile.
Must exercise care in preventive maintenance on tools or equipment.
Receive parts/materials, verify that the order is correct, complete all related paperwork, and electronically record transactions.
Identify, bag, count, and stock the material in proper locations or assign usage and move to proper area for distribution.
Verify and count all incoming stock prior to assigning location.
Perform all required transactions required to maintain a high level of inventory accuracy.
Prepare parts/machines for packing, pack per customer/industry requirements, and complete all related paperwork in preparation of shipment.
Assist in training and orientation of other material handlers and transferees.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Read scales and other measuring devices.
Verify that part name and physical part match.
Utilize computer/handheld guns to handle required transactions.
Operate miscellaneous power tools used in construction of skids, boxes and crates used in the shipping of parts and/or machines.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

ABOUT THE JOB
The Route Sales (or Technical Sales Rep) position combines sales, customer service, delivery and travel throughout the assigned territory. As part of a small, efficient and flexible branch team, each team member is expected to be a strong contributor and help meet the objectives of safety, customer satisfaction and sales growth. This position works independently - but help is always just a phone call away! The work week is generally Monday through Friday with 10+ hour days and an occasional overnight route.
Many aspects of this job - from driving to chemical handling to sales - are learned through paid on-the-job training!
Responsibilities
Call on existing and new customers to maintain and grow business through sales efforts, problem-solving and technical support of chemical products and equipment.
Develop productive, productive relationships with new and existing customers.
Efficiently and safely deliver chemical and other products to customers on a company truck (usually a 26,000 pound straight/box truck).
Provide “hands-on” service of equipment, which may include visually inspecting, repairing and adjusting chemical feed equipment.

Delivers customer orders directly to our customer's doorstep with professionalism and care.
Safely navigates varying weather conditions and hazards throughout the duration of your shift, both inside and outside the vehicle.
Uses proper lifting form to safely load and unload up to 150 boxes per shift, each weighing up to 50lbs.
Supports our Packaging Return Program by picking up and documenting customer recycling.
Supports the overall delivery volume, which may include helping other drivers complete their routes or working overtime as-needed.
What you have:
Authorized to work in the United States.
Possess a valid state issued driver's license for at least 2 years
Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
2 years of previous Delivery driving experience
Comfortable operating delivery van in all types of weather conditions
Willingness to work overtime and/or possible weekends if the business needs you to
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to sit, stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation
Nice for you to have:
HS Diploma or equivalent
Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
Experience working in a food based environment
