**Overview:**
Machine Operators are responsible for continuously monitoring and maintaining product quality based on established standards including visual and mechanical inspection of product, as well as work in a safe manner following all safety policies and procedures. Performing setups in accordance with established procedure, operating, and loading/unloading equipment. Work from written and verbal instructions, procedures and work orders are also required.

**Team Overview and Job responsibilities**
The Digital Solutions sales team in North America consists of approximately 10 sales managers + several external sales rep agents. This team is responsible for achieving sales and profits across all markets in North America, except enterprise, for fiber cable and outside copper cable.
This role will transform over the first few years of implementation. The role will begin as a business development/relationship building role and is expected to later transition into a regional sales director role within several years. The beginning objective of the role is to develop close business relationships with hyperscale companies and their partners who build outside plant fiber networks to connect their assets. Companies include: Amazon Web Services, Google, Meta, Oracle, Microsoft, Equinix, Zayo, Lumen and others.
What does "building relationships" with these customers really mean? What is expected?
+ Determine their org structure, who are the decision makers for fiber cable (HQ and regional)
+ Build awareness of the Prysmian brand with those decision makers.
+ Determine the projects that involve fiber cable, both short and long term (their funnel)
+ Educate the customer on Prysmian products, specs, value, strength. Ensure new products are launched and shared effectively.
+ Ensure the customer's voice and needs are making it to our Product Roadmap
+ Gather intelligence about competitors ( strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats)
+ Determine other OSP vendors the customer likes to work with (duct, splicing, installations, etc) and develop effective relationship there also.
The phase 2 aspect of this role involves moving into a regional sales director role, overseeing both key accounts and territory management. The accounts and territory would be determined at a future date.
**Objectives:**
Advance Prysmian's position and brand awareness in the hyperscale/long haul/middle mile segment. Enable the sales team to achieve improved sales results in the hyperscale/long haul/middle mile segment. Be the voice of the customer to help Prysmian stay on the leading edge of products needed in this segment. Expand the number of customers that Prysmian interfaces with in this segment. Train and educate our sales team how to effectively work with customers in this segment. Help develop sales and marketing materials for this segment. Work closely with the product management team on literature, social media, and other marketing to help advance the Prysmian brand.
The role could require >40% overnight travel during a normal work week.
Compensation involves base salary + quarterly bonus program. A company car is included as part of the compensation package.
The successful candidate will require a well balanced mix of technical, consultative, and relationship sales techniques. A successful candidate will be proactive in building existing relationships, finding new relationships, investigative work, and making Prysmian a relevant factor in the customers business success. The role requires above average public speaking and presentation skills as these are a key daily part of the role. Your support team includes sales managers, product managers and field service managers.

Essential Functions

Will lead shift safety meetings to ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and health policies, procedures, and practices.
* Communicates & documents employee expectations and assesses employee performance. Provides coaching and development opportunities and administers disciplinary action up to and including termination if needed. Will be required to assist in the evaluation and selection process of hiring hourly employees.
* Oversees the training of warehouse employees to ensure they receive adequate training prior to operating forklifts and any other motorized equipment, ensuring they follow the standard operating procedures and work instructions.

* Ensuring solid communication between truck drivers and warehouse employees at all times.
* Assists in performing root-cause analysis as well as implementing sustainable countermeasures on losses related to warehouse activities.
* Maintains workplace organization to ensure good housekeeping (5S) by holding employees responsible for their assigned work areas. Assures warehouse lighting infrastructure is operational and functioning for efficiency and safety.
* Reviews and approves employee time in the UKG timekeeping system and ensures employees are paid the correct hours and wages in accordance with the respective sites' pay policies and procedures or collective bargaining agreements.

This position is responsible for the safe repair and rejuvenation of medium to high voltage underground cables using Novinium's patented technology and processes.
Responsibilities
Safety
Work safely with no electrical contact incidents or personal injuries
Enhance and advance a below zero incident safety culture and behavior
Comprehend and follow OSHA and company safety rules
Responsible for the safety of all people at a worksite
Craftwork
Operate TDR waveform and RF locating equipment to perform cable testing and analysis of cable paths, splice locations and neutral corrosion
Place and operate cable injection equipment on de-energized and energized cables in transformers, switchgear, junction boxes and at other cable end points
Perform air flow tests
Prepare cable for injection activities, including electrical craftwork according to quality standards
Inject URD and feeder cables with Novinium patented repair/rejuvenation fluids using sustained and un-sustained rejuvenation technologies
Provide field service and set up injection equipment
Switch medium voltage electrical circuits
Write and implement cable switching orders, manage switching contact with circuit owner
Climb poles to perform work if needed
Carry out other duties as assigned

May coordinate injection and digging activities (competency in excavation)
Maintain rolling stock and equipment
Select Injection Adapters, and cable accessories

**_Position Summary_**
The Engineering Manager is responsible for planning and directing the activities of the Engineering group for the purpose of improvement of productivity, quality, capacity expansion, and for the production of new products and new materials through the development and application of new manufacturing technologies.
**Team Overview and Job Responsibilities**
+ Lead continuous improvement activities to achieve the annual plan of proficiency projects
+ Lead and enforce the culture of safety, health and environment in their work team and daily tasks
+ Recruit, develop and guide resources to improve total performance and productivity
+ Prepare and update annually the capital plan to support the business plan and manage capital project execution within budget and timeline
+ Review and evaluate the key performance indicator (KPI) on an ongoing basis and identify area for improvements
+ Provide direction of work plans, in addition to ensuring the development of generating multi-skills of operational personnel on equipment under their responsibility
+ Develop and maintain process standards, procedures and specifications to ensure consistent product quality
+ Direct supervision and development of the process engineering group made of 6 process engineers and 2 process technicians
**Who are we looking for?**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering highly preferred OR at least 20 years of engineering leadership experience
+ 7-10 years of Process or Manufacturing Engineering Manager experience
+ Proven success in project management
+ Technical training at various levels of the organization
+ Excellent team and leadership skills - as team member, trainer, and developer
+ Results driven individual who has demonstrated ability creating and working in a high performance manufacturing environment
+ Good attention to detail and the ability to manage the bigger picture and have a "make it happen" mentality
+ Effectively manage multiple, complex tasks and deal easily with pressure on a day in and day out basis
+ Ability to motivate, communicate and drive continuous improvement through quality
+ Critical thinker with excellent analytic abilities
+ Good understanding of business principles and practices and ability to create financial solutions with a bottom-line result
+ Solid planning, budgeting, and administrative skills
+ High energy demonstrates urgency and fast pace
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ Master's Degree in Engineering or MBA
**Work Environment / Physical Demands:**
+ 70% of time will be spent walking and standing on concrete production floor, along with use of stairs
+ Also exposed to hot, humid conditions 70% of the time
