HOW A SOFTWARE ENGINEER SME WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Work with a team of systems engineers and software developers to specify, design, develop, test and deploy the end-state system. The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

**What You'll Get to Do:**
The Principal Contract Administrator will be considered a key focal point on contract matters within the organization and must demonstrate the skill and ability to perform complex tasks. As most assignments are complex, the position will require the candidate to work independently without appreciable direction.
This position will require excellent oral and written communication skills and will represent the organization as a focal point on contract matters. This position will require interaction with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations and may develop and deliver presentations.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
+ Lead and coordinate the company response to customer Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to understand Statements of Work (SOW)/contract requirements and advise the program team on risk identification and mitigation strategies
+ Ensure company proposals are fully responsive to prospective customer requirements, prepare proposal submittal documents, and coordinate appropriate levels of internal review and approval. Coordinate and develop responses to fact-finding, evaluation notices, and requests for information (RFIs), to bolster priorities, strengthen support for the proposal, and also identify customer key items or concerns
+ Develop and execute negotiation strategy/plan to establish a framework to arrive at the most beneficial agreement possible between Northrop Grumman and the customer in the quickest timeframe possible
+ Maintain excellent working relationships with customers to effectively communicate, administer, modify, negotiate and terminate standard and nonstandard contractual agreements
+ Oversee contract performance including schedules and deliverables and complete actions to ensure satisfactory program performance
+ Advise program teams of contractual rights and obligations, including interpretation of contract terms and conditions
+ Maintain and update contract documents and official program records, including contractual documents and correspondence
+ Provide direct contract support, review contractual documents to ensure protection of company's contractual/risk posture, satisfaction of contractual requirements and adherence to company policies
+ Research contract issues and prepare analysis with citations
+ Work cooperatively with the technical staff to address customer requests
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years relevant experience in U.S. Government contract administration and management or Masters Degree with 3 years relevant experience
+ Experience with FAR/DFARS
+ Experience working with various contract types such as Time & Material, Cost types, Firm Fixed Price, Other Transactions, etc.
+ Experience working with proposal development and negotiations
+ The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required.

**HOW A LEAD FIREARMS INSTRUCTOR** **WILL** **MAKE AN IMPACT:**
Lead Firearms Instructors (LFIs) are the first point of contact at the training venue for Federal Flight Deck Officers (FFDO) and is the on-site training manager for the program. LFIs conduct all classroom instruction; delivering the approved TSA training and safety brief; introducing and describing new equipment; and ensuring all students understand and sign the safety briefing. The LFI ensures a minimum number of SFIs are present to maintain an instructor/student ratio of 1:6 for each training session. The LFI must ensure a sufficient inventory of training supplies is on-hand at the training venue to support monthly requalification sessions. The LFI is expected to maintain positive control of the training environment from the moment students arrive at the venue to the moment they depart. Upon students? arrival; the LFIs must verify weapons and credentials of each FFDO before training commences by visual inspection. The LFI is responsible for ensuring proper scoring of targets; completion of applicable administrative forms; and collection of training data. The LFI is required sign and certify qualification scores for all FFDOs attempting to qualify. Failure of an FFDO to qualify also means that an authorized FAMS Representative and/or LFI takes custody of the unloaded weapon; transport device (lockbox); credential and other equipment for return to TSA/FAMS. If no authorized FAMS representative is present to receive the equipment; the LFI shall make immediate verbal notification to the FFDO Program Office in order to make the appropriate arrangements to return equipment and credentials. The LFI must keep all Sensitive Security Information (SSI) and Sensitive Personally Identifying Information (SPII) secured appropriately both during and after a re-qualification session in compliance with the TSA MD 2100.2; Privacy and Information Collection Policy and TSA MD 1400.3 TSA Information Security Policy. The LFI is oversees time keeping of all SFI labor hours. The LFI must comply with internal compliance training events
**WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:**
EDUCATION / EQUIVALENT TRAINING: Current or former federal law enforcement agent; officer; or civilian employee having completed a recognized federal firearm instructor training program deemed acceptable by the TSA/FAMS. Examples of a recognized federal firearms instructor programs include; but are not limited to; certified instructor graduates of FLETC Firearms Instructor Training program (FITP); FAMS Firearms Instructor Training Program; FBI/DEA Firearms Instructor Training Program; United States Postal Inspectors Firearms Instructor Training Program or equivalent federal training program. All LFIs must successfully complete a 2-3 days firearms re-qualification training program under the technical direction of the SAC; FAMS Training Division; and the FFDO Program Office. As a Rapid Response Technician, you are responsible for installing and documenting new or updated Inside Plant cable infrastructure, which includes conduit, cable trays, copper, coax, fiber, and all associated elements in the Pentagon, Mark Center, and buildings within the NCR supported by DISA J6. **Duties and Responsibilities:**

The likely salary range for this position is $131,750 - $178,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
