Position Description
A maintenance mechanic who rigs, installs, services, moves and dismantles equipment and machinery and performs such other work as not specifically designated under other maintenance classifications. Includes moving and locating machines and equipment according to floor plans; installing, rearranging and removing overhead line shafting, mechanical handling systems, hoists, etc.
Use such tools and equipment as drill presses, power saws, chain falls, jacks, skids, slings, burning torches, and other types of portable and hand tools. When required, should be able to plan, layout and complete work with a minimum of supervision. May be assisted by helpers.
May also be required to handle/manage hazardous waste from time to time.

Must be U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to successfully complete the pre-employment process including drug screen and background check.
Must obtain Department of Army Police unescorted access.
Must have high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Ability to obtain / maintain security clearance.
Must satisfy skills test- including vision, audio, respirator clearance, physical.

Working Conditions & Environment
Ability to work in production environment, including:

This program is open to any rank, enlisted or officer. Skillbridge is an opportunity for transitioning service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through an individual internship during their last six months of service for up to 180 days.
You may be eligible to participate in SkillBridge if you:
* Have 180 days of service or fewer remaining prior to your date of discharge and you have at least 180 continuous days of active service.
* Obtain written authorization and approval from your unit commander to participate in DoD SkillBridge Program prior to start of the internship.

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems, Special Mission Aircraft (SMA) Operating Unit (OU) is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer to join our team at our Lake Charles, LA facility. Our team provides customers with support Special Mission Aircraft (SMA) heavy maintenance and modifications. This business area focuses on the support, design, analysis, modification, integration, ground and flight testing, airworthiness certification, and logistics support of airborne ISR platforms that are primarily highly modified commercial-derivative aircraft. This includes both Mission Equipment Package (MEP) Support, Platform Maintenance, and Platform/System Modification.
The Staff Electrical Engineer should have knowledge of and experience with circuit design/analysis and power electronics design to military, space, or aerospace standards commonly used in the defense and aerospace realm. In addition, the candidate should be familiar with aircraft maintenance and modification operations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The candidate will provide liaison support and develop detailed electrical analyses in support of troubleshooting, drawing release, aircraft repairs or modification integration. These analyses will be in support of Material Review Board (MRB), and fleet management activities.
The candidate should have knowledge of Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), large transport aircraft electrical design criteria, and nonstandard repairs.
Provides technical guidance to liaison engineers in the design and substantiation of aircraft electrical modification integration and/or repairs.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, a team player, and possess the ability to research and effectively resolve technical issues both independently and as part of a large multi-disciplined team. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as interpersonal skills in order to coordinate with a variety of disciplines are also essential. This position requires the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to frequently changing requirements. The candidate will be required to effectively and efficiently work at offsite locations that may require travel.

Basic Qualifications:

Position Responsibilities:
Manage startup, shutdown, messaging, monitoring, and automated recovery for production and non‑production environments
Execute targeted, minimal-impact partial recycles to maximize operational efficiency while minimizing outage duration and scope for specific applications
Drive outage reduction initiatives to minimize manual interventions and prevent unintended side effects

The Senior Architect - Application Cybersecurity helps validate that our services, applications, and websites are designed and implemented in accordance with United's secure development standards. The Senior Architect works closely with development teams, product teams, and other teams across the organization to integrate security into the product lifecycle from design through deployment.
The Senior Architect will work with security architects, design and develop applications or technical solutions for the validation and enforcement of security requirements, performing application security assessments, and providing developers with remediation guidance and advice.
* Analyze security requirements, design and develop applications to automate security review, compliance validation, and security operations, leveraging application security testing and monitoring solutions.
* Improve the accessibility of security through automation, continuous integration pipelines, and other means.
* Research, define and drive for security best practices and standards and ensure products development teams understand them; Create technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed.
* Support security architecture design and analysis and improve our products. Perform code analysis of applications, manually and using SAST, DAST, and SCA scanning solutions as well as conducting manual vulnerability analysis.
