Essential Responsibilities: * Operate balance equipment and perform functional component and accessory tests as assigned. * Verify work performed is in accordance with technical specifications, manuals, or other quality verification criteria. * Use all types of precision measuring instruments and devices for in process final and related inspection functions using jigs, fixtures, hand and power tools, shop equipment, and machinery. * Perform comprehensive examinations of hardware for serviceability and airworthiness certification. * Provide routing and the movement of assemblies, hardware, tooling, and other material in support of assigned area. * Perform a variety of assembly support functions such as kitting, material handling/movement and area housekeeping. * Maintain records and perform related duties. * Perform functional tests and maintain process controls.     The Power Electronics Systems Lead Engineer will report to the Hybrid Electric Electrical Systems Manager within the GE Aerospace Future of Flight Organization. The engineer will be responsible for power electronic component and system definition as well as validation and verification through analysis, modeling, and testing. This role is essential for the safe execution of GE Aerospace's suite of hybrid electric ground and flight technology demonstrator vehicles.
