+ Be responsible for personal safety and for the safety of others. Must maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
+ Set-up, indicate, and machine raw material (bar stock, forgings, and castings) to manufacture Fisher parts to OEM print dimensions.
+ Cross-train on all machines to prevent lapse in production flow including but not limited to engine lathes, manual drills, horizontal bandsaws, CNC lathes, VTLs, HBMs, and CNC mills.
+ Must understand material hardness, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, coolant requirements and machining techniques.
+ Interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T) per part drawings.
+ Potential for field assignments using in-line machine. Some travel may be required.
+ Adherence to all safety, quality, and environmental rules and regulations.

**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education is a plus.
+ Minimum of 2 years of full-cycle machining experience, including programming, setup, and operation of machines.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
+ Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer relations skills are a must.
+ Legal authorization to work in the United States.
**Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:**
+ Mechanical related Associates degree or 5+ years of experience with machining and fabricating.
+ Working knowledge of CAD/CAM (MasterCam) & SolidWorks' modeling is preferred
+ Welding knowledge preferred.
+ Experience in the process control industry is a plus.
+ Knowledge of analyzing, evaluating, diagnosing, and resolving equipment and process related problems is strongly preferred.
