This Services Manufacturing Engineer in CNC 5 Axis Machining includes oversight of the following processes: Conventional machining, fixturing/tooling practices, grinding, blending, surface finishing, hole making, rotating hardware machining, deburring, EDM, drilling, cutting, part marking, and part measuring. The Services Manufacturing Engineer is the resident expert for a specific manufacturing process and is the recognized focal providing continuity and growth for both business and technical challenges to meet the needs of the Services business.
The Services Technology Acceleration Center (STAC) is dedicated to advancing aerospace inspection technologies and repair processes and enhancing customer support capabilities for its Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facilities around the globe.
Job Description
* Will work onsite at our facility in Springdale, Ohio. *
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Guiding and standardizing Capital Expenditures
* Technical expert for machining processes providing shop support to drive business improvements (delivery, quality, safety, cost, scrap reduction, etc.)
* Contribute to and sign-off Standard Practice Manual (SPM) updates and improvements
* Synergize and leverage New Make best practices
* Coordinate with global MRO site-level Special Process owners to leverage best practices, communicate lessons learned, and drive process improvements to achieve yield entitlement and best in class cost of ownership
* Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
* Ability to interpret engineering Engine Shop Manual (ESM) and Standard Practice Manual (SPM) requirements and institute best practices
* Institutionalize LEAN practices to improve delivery
* Provide mentorship and create training materials for new Special Process Owners
* Standardize Quality Control Work Instructions in partnership with MRO global site-level Special Process Owners
* Author audit checklists
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 5+ years of CNC 5 Axis machining experience (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years of CNC 5 Axis machining experience).
* 5+ years of MRO or manufacturing shop experience.

As a controls engineer in the field, you will be asked to travel throughout your assigned service area with a company vehicle to build customer relations and apply your technical expertise to on-site projects as you oversee field service deliverables, establish operational quality and assure customer satisfaction. Northrop Grumman Defense Systems, Special Mission Aircraft (SMA) Operating Unit (OU) is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer to join our team at our Lake Charles, LA facility. Our team provides customers with support Special Mission Aircraft (SMA) heavy maintenance and modifications. This business area focuses on the support, design, analysis, modification, integration, ground and flight testing, airworthiness certification, and logistics support of airborne ISR platforms that are primarily highly modified commercial-derivative aircraft. This includes both Mission Equipment Package (MEP) Support, Platform Maintenance, and Platform/System Modification.
The Staff Electrical Engineer should have knowledge of and experience with circuit design/analysis and power electronics design to military, space, or aerospace standards commonly used in the defense and aerospace realm. In addition, the candidate should be familiar with aircraft maintenance and modification operations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The candidate will provide liaison support and develop detailed electrical analyses in support of troubleshooting, drawing release, aircraft repairs or modification integration. These analyses will be in support of Material Review Board (MRB), and fleet management activities.
The candidate should have knowledge of Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), large transport aircraft electrical design criteria, and nonstandard repairs.
Provides technical guidance to liaison engineers in the design and substantiation of aircraft electrical modification integration and/or repairs.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, a team player, and possess the ability to research and effectively resolve technical issues both independently and as part of a large multi-disciplined team. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as interpersonal skills in order to coordinate with a variety of disciplines are also essential. This position requires the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to frequently changing requirements. Basic Qualifications:

As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will implement and support cost-effective automated methods of testing and troubleshooting printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs). This test equipment consists of electrical, electronic, mechanical measurement and controls, mechanical fixtures and test software which are used in global manufacturing facilities to produce Rockwell Automation products. You will work with the global and local plant environments in collaboration with design teams to achieve optimum product and test equipment designs for manufacturability. Your Responsibilities:
Participate in projects to allow our plants to meet annual productivity goals and reduce/eliminate safety and ergonomic risk in the manufacturing work environment.
Help develop standardized work practices, documentation maintenance, and operator training for all test related processes.
Provide guidance with preventative maintenance and calibration schedules and requirements for test instrumentation.
Provide manufacturing technical support assisting in troubleshooting test systems to resolve crisis downtime situations in Rockwell Automation plants.
Provide guidance for product repair processes and other troubleshooting tools and guides for tester/product repair.
Implement continuous improvement, error proofing, ergonomics, yield, and other lean manufacturing programs for test equipment and processes.
Participate in the procurement, installation and validation activities with test equipment targeted for the manufacturing production.

As an Electrical Engineering Co-op at Ethicon, you will have the chance to:
+ Be a contributing member to one of our teams developing: electrical and electromechanical surgical instruments, surgical robotics, electronic operating room equipment, or systems for automated data acquisition, analysis, and visualization
+ Use state of the art tools to perform testing, experimentation, and validation in support of product design.

Responsibilities will increase with each rotation as you learn more by returning to school. Rotations are generally 12 weeks and availability for multiple rotations is desired. The R&D Design & Development Co-op program provides each student with a great support system, as well as the opportunity to meet people from various schools throughout the country.
All co-ops that qualify for housing assistance will receive a one-time taxable stipend to support the cost of living during the co-op term. **Job Description**
Job Summary:
Help invent the future of flight, lift people up, and bring them home safely as a GE Aerospace intern or co-op! You'll build professional and technical skills in an aerospace systems & defense role working on challenging, real-world problems to design aerospace systems for commercial and military applications & support through service life. Build relationships with interns/coops and leaders and prepare for a potential full-time position after graduation in one of our fantastic leadership programs or a direct hire opportunity.
You will gain broad exposure to the engineering field with an array of opportunities ranging from design & analysis to working hands-on with aerospace systems. Ultimately, you'll be placed taking your preferences into account while also considering your major, year of schooling, and business needs at the time of placement.
Essential Responsibilities:
An Aerospace Systems & Defense intern/co-op may experience work in the development of engine controls, navigation, & guidance systems; gas turbine engine components; electrical power systems; mechanical systems; vehicle health & data management systems; mission systems; computing systems; and platform systems integration. Responsibilities may include design, analysis, development, and testing, writing software requirements, software testing, simulation, tool development and product/program support.
Qualifications/Requirements:
+ Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA off a 4.0 scale without rounding.
+ Attending a full time matriculated and nationally accredited baccalaureate or graduate program in engineering (degrees accepted: Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science).
+ Willingness and ability to work in the United States; primary locations are: Dayton, OH.
+ Reliable transportation, many of our sites do not have public transportation available.

As an Impact Dynamics Engineer, you will:
* Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements
* Develop and analyze LSDYNA models to support the design and development of aircraft engines. Provide impact loads, deflections, & stress/strain results to design groups and provide guidance for interpretation.
* Provide technical leadership to personnel supporting the assigned project
* Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures
* Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments
* Participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues
* Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews
* Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
* Prepare reports and present to engine program customers and engineering leadership
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university or college
* At least 3 additional years of in an Engineering position or equivalent experience
