Jeff Rea joined Stock Building Supply in 2010 as President and CEO. Before joining Stock, he served as President of the Specialty Products Group at TE Connectivity (TEL), which was comprised of four separate global businesses. Prior to TEL, Jeff was a Senior Executive at Johns Manville, a global manufacturer of highly engineered materials and building products which is owned by Berkshire Hathaway Company. During his tenure there, he rose from the position of Vice President and General Manager of its Building Insulation Business to Senior Vice President of its Buildings Products Group, which included the building insulation, performance materials and roofing systems businesses. Before joining Johns Manville, he served 15 years in various leadership roles at General Electric, including five years with the GE Corporate Audit Staff. Jeff has a degree in mechanical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana.
