The Research and Development (R&D) Engineer uses their technical design skills to drive the products from theoretical structural designs and calculations to the physical testing, approvals and certifications. As part of the AWIP Innovation Team, the R&D Engineer collaborates with the technical, design, and business development teams to take new product developments and improvement of existing products from the stages of concept, evaluation, design, validation, approval, product launch, and installation.
