Restore refinish panel(s) to OEM quality utilizing provided rotary buffer, correct buffing technique, compounds and polishes defined in SOP.

Remove and clean all compound or polish residue from buffed panels completely and inspect for acceptable finish quality.
Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
* Inspect refinished body panels for proper color match and acceptable finish texture, bringing any quality issues to management's attention immediately.
* Prepare surface for buffing utilizing proper finish sanding products and technique (see

* Restore refinish panel(s) to OEM quality utilizing provided rotary buffer, correct buffing technique, compounds and polishes defined in SOP.
* Inspect remaining (not repaired/refinished) vehicle surfaces for overspray and remove as needed.
* Remove and clean all compound or polish residue from buffed panels completely and inspect for acceptable finish quality.
* Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
* Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
* 2 - 5 years of buffing experience or experience working in a body shop/repair preferred. Valid respirator Fit Test required.
* Paint Training Certification as defined in HAPS 6H regulation required.
* Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
* Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission. Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.

Requirements
Must-haves:
2+ years of automotive experience.
BMW FastTrack and BMW STEP students and graduates are encouraged to apply.
Experience with BMW &/or MINI is a plus; we will train the right candidate.
Valid driver's license and ability to meet insurability standards.
Nice-to-haves:
BMW or German brand experience preferred.
Good communication, computer, and customer service skills.
Reliable with a good work ethic and problem-solving skills.

Cardinale Mazda is looking for a Lube Technician who wants to start on a path to becoming a Mazda technician. We are looking for a driven and motivated individual who is determined to learn all they can from our technicians and start their career in the automotive service industry. As a Lube Tech Apprentice, you will learn to diagnose and perform repairs on vehicles while under a master technicians supervision. Responsibilities
* Document and perform work as outlined on repair order following all dealership and factory standards.
* Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil; replace oil and air filters.
* Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessary.
* Check tire pressure and add air if needed.
* Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
* Keep shop area neat and clean.
* Maintain accountability for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
* Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
* Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
* Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
* Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
* Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.
* Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
* Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
