Role Summary Internship Term: Rivian internships are experiences optimized for student candidates. To be eligible, you must be an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited program during the internship term with an expected graduation date between Dec 2026 and 2028. As a Material Flow Engineering Intern, you will support the optimization and development of material flow strategies within manufacturing or distribution environments. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, logistics, and warehouse operations to ensure materials are delivered efficiently and accurately to the right place at the right time. Responsibilities Assist in analyzing and designing efficient material flow processes for production lines and warehouses. Support layout design and improvements for material handling systems, workstations, and storage areas. Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and logistics planners to optimize inventory locations and reduce non-value-added movement. Use data analysis tools to track, measure, and improve material flow performance. Qualifications Must be currently pursuing a bachelors, masters degree at an accredited university in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and material handling principles is a plus. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with AutoCAD, Tableau, or simulation software preferred. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. Pay Disclosure Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Internships: The range of pay for internships is 25.00-51.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on location, and other factors permitted by law. Essential Functions:
Plan, organize and bring to completion the redesign/optimization of the center console and cockpit area in assembly 2. Environmental Engineering Intern - Summer 2026
Job Description:
Primary Purpose of Role:
The Environmental Engineering Intern will gain exposure and experience in the principles, methods and techniques of engineering concerned with facilities and systems for controlling pollution and protecting quality of resources and the environment. In this role, you will also build on regulatory knowledge of federal, state, and local laws.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in providing oversight and ensuring regulatory compliance of applicable requirements.
Access, research, interpret, and effectively communicate environmental regulations and requirements.
Assist in site inspections, audits, and training for company sites.
Assist in the development, implementation, and testing of plans to minimize environmental risks.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
College undergraduate or graduate status with 1-3 years at an accredited college or university, pursuing an academic field of study related to Environmental Engineering, Science, or other technical fields of study.
Experience:
Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
Analytical ability to solve complex problems.

The Field Engineer Intern is responsible for implementing IT installations, services, and changes at Copart's HQ, offices, and yards. This includes office support, operational growth, yard moves, remodels, decommissioning, and general IT support. Some travel may be required.
Duties:
• Remotely assist with installs, troubleshooting, and repairs of network, desktop, and voice equipment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data circuits; escalate issues to vendors as needed.
• Track and resolve tickets in the Helpdesk system.
• Document and manage IT equipment inventory.
• Install and support IT devices, including PCs, servers, VoIP, mobility devices, and infrastructure.
• Assist in IT projects, including research, configuration, and deployment.
• Coordinate IT moves, adds, and changes across yards and offices.
• Update project documentation in Copart's SharePoint.
• Determine and design infrastructure wiring on floor plans.
• Work with vendors to obtain quotes and manage IT purchases.
• Verify IT equipment arrivals and conduct inventory checks.
• Survey sites and report discrepancies.
• Ensure telecommunications circuits and phone lines are operational.
• Expedite Telecom issues and assist with IT installations.
• Conduct connectivity tests for all IT equipment.
• Resolve IT issues on opening day of new sites.
• Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
• Basic knowledge of telecommunications, LAN cabling, and data circuits.
• Self-motivated with good judgment under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with physical network and PC equipment installations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs. repeatedly.
• Understanding of cabling infrastructure and standards.
Preferred Skills:
• Strong project management abilities.
