Our Purpose: We pioneer the innovations that move and connect people to what matters About the role: The Senior Credit Analyst is responsible for researching and analyzing credit risks, assessing credit history, and approving or denying extension of credit to potential customers. This team member has contact with other company departments, as well as automobile dealers and other finance and credit sources. Responsibilities Analyze credit data to assess risk and determine creditworthiness. Approve or deny credit applications within established authority and legal guidelines. Build and maintain dealer relationships to support volume and credit quality goals. Secure automotive finance contracts that align with profitability standards. Collaborate with other departments to enhance operational efficiency. Manage and resolve work queues to meet service level expectations. Support dealer engagement through joint calls and outbound telemarketing. Track monthly dealer goals and ensure complete documentation for all deals. Qualifications What makes you a dream candidate? Strong knowledge of consumer finance, auto lending, and related regulatory requirements. Familiarity with retail installment documentation and credit policies. Skilled in credit underwriting, sales, negotiation, and customer relations. Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Prepares a written underwriting package for new loans where the obligor or relationship is considered complex or as required by the Regional Credit Officer. Uses Moody's Financial Analyst as analytical tool. Reinforces the application of superior customer service through his or her own example along with appropriate follow through with employees. Operates computer terminal or personal computer to obtain and process data, do credit research or portfolio analysis. Answers telephones, answers questions from lending officers. Performs duties specific to the position and other functions as assigned. Assists with on-going computerization of the loan review function. Assists in training sessions for the lending officers when needed. Assists in maintaining the portfolio of loans where an individual borrower's total loan exposure is $1,000,000 or greater in the aggregate. This consists of working with the lending officers to make sure that all documentation is in file, that financial information is current, and any other items that may be required by the Regional Credit Officer. Completes annual compliance courses. Adheres specifically to all corporate policies and procedures. Also adheres to Federal and State regulations and laws; including, the Bank Secrecy Act and the Anti-Money Laundering Act. Adheres to all levels of our Service Excellence standards. GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge & Experience: These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. Working knowledge of complex borrower organizational structures and consolidated or consolidating financial statement presentations and financial ratio analysis to assist in developing global cash flow presentations and analysis of repayment capacity.
